Priddis in for Masten
Lycett in for Petrie
Hurn in for Butler
Lecras in for cole

That's how I think the changes will go.

Priddis and Lecras shouldn't be playing imo but that's how the MC view it right now.

Petrie is named at full forward so doesn't that mean he won't be omitted?

Not saying it's right but I've seen hundreds if not thousands of posts calling them plodding and lecrab with barely a mention from anyone.

Maybe the melting is affecting everyone lol.

I personally didn't agree with Lecras being called an it though.
Don't think it's an issue calling them those nicknames. It's not as if they are disrespecting their careers, just highlighting their current form in a name.

My 2 cents worth.

Pretty sure Simpson said Partington needs to work on his defensive game, but this might have been a throwaway comment and not the exact reason as to why he isn't playing..

There's not really a spot for him at the moment, especially with Priddis seemingly come in for Masten ?

I can name another player who needs to work on his defensive game, but doesn't stop him getting named...

I'd say it was a throwaway comment.

Priddis for Masten doesn't work in the slightest so there will have to be rejigging.

Maybe Lecras to take that role and Redden to be unfairly dropped. Pretty piss poor selections (Hurn for Butler an obvious choice).

Except the Grand Final is played at the MCG

Maybe, but we haven't actually had the chance to apply our new game plan at the MCG, so we'll just have to wait and see.

You think the bulldogs are playing like a premiership team?

Any road win in Melbourne is a plus, and the Bulldogs played pretty well against us in the last, so I wouldn't discount it.

You think the bulldogs are playing like a premiership team?
No, but except for the last four weeks of the year, they didn't play like one for large chunks of last year either.

This year is wide open, being the in form team in Sept is what we should be aiming for.

You mods need to get a grip on reality.

No other coach in the AFL would play either of them in current form. Mocking their names is nothing in comparison to the frustration and abuse they will receive on Sunday when they continually cost West Coast goals by their ineptness.
And if you can't make a point without resorting to name calling what does that say about you?

It ain't funny, it ain't clever, and it brings the debate down to a real playground level.

Champion or not Lecras and Matt are both horribly out of form and are still considered walk up starts despite the fact there is younger options, who are obviously the future, playing better right now :thumbsdownemoji:

I for one am not writing off our premiership hopes, I'd like to win. And that means putting the best team out on the park each week. Not the players with the best credentials or history.

If Marsden, Redden or Hutchings had Partington's stats/impact in the WAFL each week they'd be straight in the side.

My main concern is that if we are not going to give parto a run now (next few weeks) it's unlikely going to happen this season barring injuries. I can't see it happening round 22 if we are still on track for finals that's for sure.

I'm not a fan of Priddis in because it probably means redden will be out for "team balance" which is not really deserved. However, I will wait for the final team announcement before I make a judgement call.

Like most I'm melting a bit but I will wait for the final team.
Priddis was inevitable.
LeCras in off injury/out of form will trigger me the most (at least Karps is named on field).
Will be very mad if we drop Cole (hes been great).
Pridddis/Mitchell/Redden/Hutchings surely can't all play together but id love Hutchings to stay. Has found his niche with taggers back in vogue, could be handy with options including Pittard/Wingard/Polec all good users.
Wasn't a fan of people wanting Petrie out. He's been our best player passed 2 weeks and seems to improve players around him with his desire.

I'd argue our best performance was against the cats 2 weeks ago.

If Priddis, Lecras and Hurn are in for Redden, Butler and Masten, we basically have the same line up as two weeks ago (bar karpany in for schofield, wellingham in for nelson).

Agree lecras has been average the last few weeks, but he was good enough to be in the line up the first 8 rounds, and perhaps it was the injury that affected his form so badly

Redden just played one of his best games for the club, now we're dropping him?

Priddis is preferred. If you believe Simmo from last night, "Pridda is a champion and you never hear negative talk about him after a win".

Simmo needs to actually try engaging with some actual fans of the club rather than the circle jerk at team HQ.
