I would assume just the one change, Ellis in for White, but Arnot is listed as test, so i would love him to get a taste as Sub
sweet-oinion chicken teriyaki or meatball classic? Personally I opt for the chicken and bacon ranch melt.

jeez you post some rubbish Tugga, the Italian BMT shits all over those three.

- Chook Teriyaki - too sweet
- Meatball - too messy
- chicken and bacon melt - this is not Jarod approved, guaranteed to make you a fat bastard!!

edit: just 1 change should be plenty I think

LOLOLOL GRIFFITHS IN!!!! We only put Rance as a one man band against everybody if the ball goes beyond the midfield. Griffiths and Astbury up forward!!!!

Forward line will be very open this weekend I suggest to give Jacka best shot at the Coleman

Sigh. Once again and for the umpteenth time - Graham is contracted for 2013.
Unless we pay him out a year early, he will still be on the list.
Is that confirmed, Tugga? *fingers crossed*
I thought Y&B posters had him with another year but many on here (myself included) thought this year was his last.

Come on people, you are all forgetting what Sunday is about. We need to be selecting a side that allows the following to occur:

1) Cotchin rack up a tonne of possies and gets his 3 votes
2) Jack gets the ball rammed down his throat enough to make sure he kicks more than Pav did against the Dees

On this basis I would be making sure we have enough mids to keep the rotations up, and a workable foil for Jack so Port cannot double team him. Wouldn't worry about our backline, Port are more done than us, and will only be playing for careers.

On this basis, I'm not worried about only going in with Rance and Post down back, Batch is more than enough to help out down there. Keep Astbury up forward. If Griff is fighting fit, he comes in for McGuane, but goes up forward. These two (Astbury/McGuane or Astbury/Griffiths) then have one simple instruction, work your arse off and lead your backmen away from Jack's space.

For White, ideally you would want Maric so Nahas can keep running in the middle, but he's been a spud. Bring back Ellis, and have Edwards and Nahas working the forward line with Deledio and Martin being rotated in.

OUT: White (inj), McGuane (only if Griff is good)
IN: Ellis, Griff (only if good)

FB: Morris Rance Dea
HB: Houli Post Batchelor
CT: Grigg Cotchin Newman
HF: Martin Griffiths Edwards
FF: Nahas Reiwoldt Astbury
FL: Maric Deledio Tuck
INT: Jackson Helbig O'Hanlon Ellis

in Griff
out White

O'hanlon to start, Ellis to be the sub and come on for a run in the last quarter, just to have a kick around. Game should be pretty well iced by then.

Spoke with A.Maric briefly at the ground on Friday night (after a dozen pots) & asked him why isnt out there & does he think he'll be around next year & he pretty much said "nope im not good enough". Well at least he is smart...

Spoke with Ellis at the Social Club post game (after another cheeky half dozen) & congratulated him on his year & he said he was "dropped" as he is pretty darn tired & sore but hopes to get 1 more game in against Port.

Angus Graham was there too & it took 1 almighty effort not to ask him if he personally thinks his trade value is higher or lower than a warm can of vb & a packet of tim tams!

That's kinda sad.

Oh well.

Maybe if you really did have 18 pots you may have dreampt it all and woke up shipwrecked (your sheets at half mast and dead seaman everywhere.)
:p

With that kind of attitude he aint going to

:p

It all adds up though when you break it down..
5-6 pre game.. 2-3 in the 1st half.. 2 at half time.. 2-3 2nd half & however many post game celebrating or commiserating!
No wonder I can remember bugger all games I've been to this year! Haha!

I don't know, there comes a point when you realise that you just aint quite good enough for the elite level and no amount of grit , determination or whatever will change it. It is a horrible epiphany when it happens, but at least he's young enough that he hasn't devoted too many years to a lost cause.

Out: White (inj)
In: Ellis

I would also like to get Griffiths back but it was such an even spread last night and I can't see either Batch, Dea or Post making way for him. Would like to give Astbury another up forward too

Agree with this DG - I know its a dead rubber but I'd love to win it (and I think we can even if we play a few kids).

McGuane has been decent as a foil up forward but he's 25 and unlikely to be anything more than a depth player at best. Based on that, I wouldn't object to dropping him and bringing Griff back in (and keeping Post and Astbury in the side). Don't think we'd be too tall with that arrangement - I'd like to swing Dave into defence and let Griff have a run up forward (though would be happy with anything if they can both get a game).

Griff, Astbury and Post - all 3 could be valuable best 22/decent depth players for us moving forward.

In: Ellis, Griff.
Out: White (inj), McGuane.
