Personally I want Berry and McCluggage rested. Don't take risks with these guys. Birchall rested would definitely be automatic. Mathieson for Robbo would also make sense. Nothing wrong with making 5/6 changes and telling the new guys to rip in and bruise a few bodies.
With Martin and Archie injured, the player that is now vital to our campaign is Big Oscar. He looked sore after the game last night and 3 matches in nine days (and 4 in 14) is a big workload for a ruckman. He is the Big O, so fine if he can do it, but I'd be very happy to see him managed in Tuesday or Saturday's game if needed. Makes sense for Payne to come in for Birchall. Skinner also has the versatility to go back if needed against the Tigers.

3 matches in 9 days and two 4 day breaks has to be pretty tough for the midfield, and it makes sense to keep an open mind about rotations this week.

From Fagan's press conference we can assume that Birchall will be rested.

I reckon we will rest one or two more. I think McCluggage would be my pick - he has looked a bit hampered the last couple of weeks after his shoulder knock.

I think resting Neale at some point might be a good idea too, but I'm not sure this is the game. Maybe the round 12 trip to Tasmania against North.

IMO our best back 6 + 1 on the bench come finals would be-

Alex Witherden, Jack Payne, Noah Answerth.
Darcy Gardiner, Harris Andrews, Daniel Rich.

Callum Ah Chee.

I think this covers all scenarios that opposition could throw at us. Very unlucky for Lester and Birchall, great depth to have though.
Looks fantastic, really hard choice as Birchall has had some great icks that have set up our offensive chains and opened the play up by going in the corridor

Lachie ain't getting rested. He has a brownlow to win.

That game isn't happening in Tasmania since they aren't opening borders to Queensland. It'll almost certainly be up here.

This is the game to make mass changes so we can whip the dogs but listening to Fages presser and everyone buoyed by last night's performance which whilst good was very flattering it ain't gunna happen.

So not much point me putting out there what I would do because it's too far from what's going to happen.
I’d still like to hear your thoughts :thumbsu:

Against the Tiges I feel the need for speed ........In:Terry, Coleman and Payne out: Birch, Robbo n Skinner/Ballenden
