If Weideman, May and Fritsch come in someone has to go out. Pickett, ANB and Spargo all ahead of him for mine. Melksham clearly had more impact on Sunday. Jordon will get his chance again if any of those guys slip or Jones goes out, etc

Excelled as a tagger, but hasn't shown much elsewhere. Don't think he's any better than Jones as a forward.

Harmes can mark above his head. Only point of difference though.

One non-personnel change I want to see is better balance around stoppages. It seemed we were using the country footy 2nds tactic of having everyone line up on the defensive side.

Hell no, this is the reason we are defending so well. It means they have to go backwards from a stoppage which allows us to run at them front on to try and cause a turnover and it gives them the security to kick the ball forward which is where our extras are waiting. It's the same as the Tigers.

Plus it means when we start a handball chain we are moving forward in waves towards the goal, no one's got their back to our forwards.

Jordon isn't playing as a forward though. he's a mid rotation unless Melksham is going to play more minutes in the middle then it has to be him or ANB who goes out for Fritsch or Weid. Well that's the way I see it and the reason Jordon is getting games is cause he can cover for any of the mids

Easier prelim if you win a more difficult qualifying final. Either way I’m not expecting us to finish higher than third at absolute best. 4-6 probably our range (could easily have achieved it 2017/2018/2020). I just want to taste first for a week and have earned it lol.

Yeah I did as well bunch of arrogant flogs maybe worse than hawthorn at their peak. Most Melbourne supporters see this game as a good opportunity to see how the team us really going. We are all realistic we know Geelong is probably the only decent scalp hence everyone in here rolling with the 'we are the worse 5-0 team' and no we aren't treating this as 'our grand final'.
