wouldn't mind cam delaney in for firrito either but think the coaches will continue to stick with spud.
If cunners isn't ready to come back then jacobs/gysberts in

out: thomas (susp), Hine
In: Garner, Cunnington

I would also like to see out: Patch, Firrito. Find it hard to believe we don't have some talent running around in the twos who couldn't replace this pair.

Hine stays in for the rest of the year. He's a goer and whilst everyone else looks to shit themselves under pressure he can dance around and move through a contest, Ziebell, Cunnington and Hine is going to be a bloody good starting three in a few years time.

Hopefully cunners is up and about. Touch and go. Need him but family is first.

Thomas you ****ing idiot.

Spuds just about cooked! That passage of play where he burnt the footy at halfback and then got turned around and smoked by his direct opponent summed up his year. He was feigning a chase by looking like he was working hard but the bloke put 4m on him under 0.5 of a second. Gone!

Out: Thomas, Spud
In: Cunnington, Mcmahon? Kennedy? not sure

Garner won't play. Forget it. Boomer to play deeper in LT's place.

In: Cunners (hopefully), McMahon or Kennedy

Out: LT, Spud

McMahon fit: Takes Spuds place and MacMillan stays sub.
McMahon unfit: MacMillan to start on one of the Richmond small forwards. Kennedy to sub.

So we give Levi credit for keeping Ward half-quiet in a dominant win but make no mention of him getting carved by Fyfe?

Hine's kicking was very bad. I'm a fan of his but this is an issue in his game that's being ignored on here simply because he's new.

For starters it was a dumb match up on Fyfe. Fyfe is 6 ft 2 and a marking mid so blame that on Scott.

Secondly Hines kicking wasn't as bad as Firitto's or Grima's.

I reckon Levi was primed for Mundy but was switched late on to Fyfe when Mundy withdrew.

I thought Narni was by far the worst offender yesterday, although that was probably because he got his hands on it more than Spud and didn't get caught when he did. Hine and Levi had a couple of poor disposals each, but hell, who didn't?

Patch may not have set the world on fire, but he did enough to make him hard to drop. You can't say the same for Firrito.

Out: LT, Firrito
In: Cunnington, C Delaney/Kennedy/McMahon

If Cunnington is unavailable, then I dunno. Maybe give Currie a crack.

agree with first point.

in regards to hine, not everyone of our players has to have to kicking skills of a premium midfielder. his job is to stop opponents and if he does that, then mission accomplished. he has to know his limitations but. im fine for him tohandball and chip pass all day. hes a valuable addition to our side.

Black still did some nice things against freo and was probably in our better players.
Lets not forget GWS had half their side in our 50 makes it hard for forwards to get on top. Petrie did have a rare good game but he is a better pack mark than black.

just in regard to a possible currie debut. i wouldnt mind seeing currie play but Black is the new black.

No, Levi came in as our run with mid and he has to beat players like Fyfe or he won't survive. Can't cop that- Fyfe is 2 inches taller.

You're forgetting Nat's Jake Sully-esque arm length and hand span.

Hine stays in for the rest of the year.

I second that.

Sure his kicking isnt elite, but its far from being a problem. Actually have enjoyed watching this bloke this year has shown some really good signs.

Re: Thomas, cop the two weeks it was dumb. Nuff said. Who replaces him, can probably rule out Garner as he wont be ready untill either late this year or next year. Im all for moving Harvey deeper and maybe giving Richo a half foward role (can he be upgraded though?). Most likely we will see Wright in though to slot back in at HF, even though i think he needs an extended run in the twos.

McMahon for Firrito too, have said it multiple time game has gone past spud and its actually sad to see his current output atm.

His VFL stats were something like 9 disposals. It would be an absolute disgrace on behalf of the match committee if he was to get a look in before a number of other blokes.

If Wright plays before Kennedy again this year, then Kennedy is gone.

If I was Kennedy I'd be requesting a trade at the end of the year.
