Hope the club hasn't rushed back cunners purely because this is a big game. If his mind isnt with footy he should not be out there... hoping he is ok though.
Meanwhile Firrito wouldn't be getting a game for GWS based on his form this year.

Our selection committee is pathetic! We are 5-8 FFS! It just makes absolutely no sense at all that we are not making any changes. How Firrito keeps getting a game is beyond me! It just winds me up

He adds experience and a cool head.

^^ Re selections.

I suspect that there is an attitude of being competitive except for 1 game (GC) and perhaps thinking that Freo was a loss we were going to have regardless, has left Match Cttee thinking that wholesale changes are not required.

It is either a fools paradise or a master stroke.

Saturday 4.45pm, all will be known.

Match committee are betting on the wrong horse with Siera. Fair play to his persistence, he's given it a good crack but just don't think he'll ever be a consistent quality AFL performer.

For some reason there seems to be an inordinate amount of faith in this lineup and personnel at the moment.

Kennedy's much alluded to game on Edwards clearly amounted to nothing, to not even crack an emergency spot.

Bugger me how Boomer rotating out of the midfield (while still maintaining his own forward role) and Leigh Adams are going to cover LT but apparently they will.

We have beaten Port, Bulldogs, Lions, Saints, GWS.......massive scalps no doubt......but you still might like to see some tough selection/experimentation/blooding of young players etc.......just saying:rolleyes:

If Cunnington is ready, Gibson loses his spot.
On what grounds?? Why??
He is our best link player, he runs both ways. Sure he isnt blessed with a all the skills thats needed to be a all time great, but he is in the side to do a set job (link player that runs both ways) and he does it in spades.

Considering we won by 86 points last week I'm happy with just Cunnington back in.

Who's going to play sub? Bench of Black, Hine, McKenzie and Macmillan.

With Richmond's running ability I wouldn't be against seeing Black as the sub. A couple of quiet games now, but he has that spark that could be very valuable as the sub.

You should apply for a job on the selection committee. Beating a bunch of kids by 86pts is not reason enough for CONSISTENT under performers to hold their spot. We must start giving other guys a go. We will go nowhere otherwise. FWIW I think L Delaney and Kennedy will ask to be traded at years end. Both are worth keeping IMO

Didn't say anything about the past games. Fact is we won by 86 points regardless of who we played.

Don't think anyone staked a claim for a position from the VFL last week, and don't think anyone played bad enough to be dropped.

Bringing someone in who doesn't deserve it would be just gifting them a game and makes your post look a bit hypocritical.

For what it's worth I would have liked to have seen Brad swing the axe a bit more, but not after last week. Fair changes.

Wouldnt think jmac will be sub considering its his 50th this week.
I think hine or mckenzie, probably hine as much as it pains me to say

Developing nicely in the two's. he will kill it next year.

Hmm, well, I don't know if he's the kind of player that after 3 years on AFL lists is still a "developing" kind of project.

Do you think using a draft pick on a PSD or rookie would be offering more by now, with more upside?

Considering his injuries, body shape and the position he plays he is Definately a developing project.

He is an inside mid. He needs to develop the body to be able to handle that. He will get there.
