What exactly did garlett do to keep his spot last weekend? He was one of our poorest fwds

Had 3 awesome weeks to start the season. Dropping him for 1 poor game would be a monumental **** up. But then again this coaching panel make some strange calls

Dropping Bugg and Fritch is a weak as piss call imo

Bugg comes in kicks 5, then has an average game and gets dropped. Great for confidence.

In a game where we were smashed around the ball the coaching panel looks at dropping a couple of forwards

8 touches, 1 goal 2 in rd 1. Two really bad games out of 4 - its possible he's dropped, but unlikely.

Bugg kicked 4, but it was a soft 4. I think 2 came from free kicks. Last week he was abysmal, like Cale Morton 'I don't want the football so I'll just kick it away in the vaguely correct direction' bad.

Bugg had 10 contested possessions and 6 score involvements to go with his four shots on goal, this is a terrible call lol. Also had the second most tackles for us

Gartlett is a forward pocket. His games will always be hit and miss. But he won the game for us v Brisbane and was extremely good v Norf.

Dropping him would be a HUGE mistake

Id say wagner goes out and both fwds in fritsch and bugg as well. Garlett should be safe for now.
Bring in one of weids/pedo and hannan as fwds and bring in hunt and stretch for lewis and wagner.
You forgot about Tyson coming in. That would make 4 changes. No way can I see us dropping Garlett. I’d say we will definitely be making 3 changes at least this week. If Hunt and Stretch are brought in and not Tyson, I will just give up on ever trying to understand Goodwin.

I agree with the need for another tall forward though. So if there are four changes, I’ll be happy with that. I hope Billy Stretch plays and plays well.

That's pretty surprising tbh, from where I was sitting he was super average

Super average would be complementary. He was awful; 4 behinds, missed Garlett in a paddock, some limp attempts at tackles that I noticed and made other poor decisions with the ball. 47% DE says the website, which seems higher than it should be, really.

I agree, his 4 goals weren't overly impressive (other than the fact it was him kicking them) as he nabbed a few free kicks for two and was left unmarked in the corridor for another. Much more impressed with Kent's game by contrast where he's working his arse off to provide an outlet from stoppages / outside the contest, so instead of constantly having to dig the ball out from pack to pack, we actually have someone who can break away from a contest.

Richmond get smoked in clearances so between gawn, jones and Oliver you should get us there.

It's the offensive/defensive pressure that we're good at. You need good users on half back and pace.

I’m so used to Kent not playing that I forget about him, then get super excited because I remember he’s available to play again.

Super Kent! He’ll win this one for us - Tigs don’t have a hope against the Kent. He should diversify a bit, play on Dusty for a while and then provide chop outs in the ruck to rest Gawn. I can’t see us losing this one.

Seriously, I do like having Kent back. It’s like losing a nice wallet, and you replace it but the new one isn’t the same, then you find the old wallet stuck behind a bedside table where the cat knocked it down. I need to work on this analogy but you get the idea.

I think you're only one of two teams that's beaten us in clearances head to head the last few years, but yes we generally get you in the midfield. That's when we have both Tyson and Viney playing though, and we'll only have one of those coming off illness this time around.

Please tell me that Goodwins answer to last week IS NOT to drop Jeffy... **** sake, I know he has an EXTREMELY quiet game sometimes but he is also capable of being a match winner...

Last time Kent played on ANZAC Eve he had 25 touches and a goal to go with 4 tackles and from memory a shit load of bumps as they were trying to clear our 50. :)

I get it. Wagner is the cat and TMac is the wallet, right?

Last year Kent went backwards and everyone else improved. This year everyone else has gone backwards and Kent has improved. That’s the power of Kent for ya

Kent has battled injuries the last couple of years.

I'm noticing a pattern with your cat and stress related posting. Maybe you should book it into a cattery for a weekend, even fur parents need a little time off every so often.

I really rate Jeffy as he can kick and create goals and his pace

Had enough of Bugg missing shots he should kick, dropping marks he should take, sorry but he lacks class and composure and is unreliable so Pedo comes in for him

Hunt is best 22 and whilst dropped for good reason it was a mistake to play without his line breaking play

Kent dont think he is consistent enough and prefer Hannan

Also dont rate Gus and much prefer Tyson for impact and consistency by foot

I would drop Lewis

It was tough watching us lose last week, really hope we can play 4 good quarters

Dude - his score involvements include his shots
