Pedo has done little to no ruck stuff at training but Weid has been heavily involved in the ruck drills at training.

Yeah they already know what pedo can do in the ruck. Weids has to learn that role.

I love Pedo, and would play him regardless of whether Weid plays, but he's finite. He's a known quality. Whatever Weideman has done over the last six months has obviously impressed them, so lets hope he takes a big step at AFL level.

Yeah so I do not know what is going on in Goodwin's mind. His crazy selections did work a fair bit last year when I couldn't understand them so he's got some credits, but to be honest he's lost a few this year so far.

It's only early in the season I suppose but Those ins aside from Hunt are crazy IMO

I don't mind playing Weid for a game and keeping Pedo fresh for the Bombers on the short turn around.

The AFL website made a point about this and I think it's a good point. It applies to the players who were left out of the VFL side too - they may not play tomorrow but are available and super fresh for the Bombers game (which could be a tactical advantage given the Bombers have one night less rest than us).

Richmond get smoked in clearances so between gawn, jones and Oliver you should get us there.

It's the offensive/defensive pressure that we're good at. You need good users on half back and pace.

We need Hibberd and Jetta to hit some form tomorrow night. Our backline will be under siege against your frenetic forwards who revel in the pressure. I honestly hope that if we play Hunt that he can contribute with those two to provide some drive. Looks like Frost is out so Hunt will probably be locked in now.
