Yeh i noticed that aswell. I thought only the Senior players sat in there, leadership group ect.

i am the biggest fan of dempsey and even i think that it would be an arrogant move to bring him in for dreamtime. he needs a couple games under his belt first

I dont see why people think that Dempsey and Nash should come straight into the side. They should have to work their way through the VFL like everyone else. Just because they have potential it doesnt make then exempt from hard work.

They won't, Dempsey definately won't, as for Nash, it's a possibillity but i don't think it will happen this week.

Totally agree. Nash has played just one game and missed a good chunk of the preseason. He only really started putting some runs on the board late last year, so he's far from being an automatic selection. Dempsey only lasted a half in the VFL about 3 weeks ago and was injured prior to that as well. They both seem quality kids, but make 'em earn it.

why are people wanting to drop dyson?? in todays modern game he's one player essendon need with a bit of toe and a long penetrating kick. This weeks game was his best this season. We just need to keep persisting with dyson and give him some continuality to find some consistency in his game.

I doubt we will make an unforced change, unless of course Welsh comes back in?

The obvious out for Welsh is Cole...however Cole definitely deserves another run, apart from a couple poor kicks did well - and of course being the dreamtime game etc., cant see him being dropped.

I wouldn't like to see any changes at all until Welsh and Lovett are fit again, both should make their way straight back into the side. We had a great balance yesterday adding kids may be helpful a couple of years down the track but will only unstabalise us at the present.

NLM should have to earn his spot in the side through the magoos, correct me if i'm wrong but he hasnt played all year yet has he? If thats the case he's already lost 2 months of fitness and form.

If there is to be a change would hope to keep then minor, only one of nash, lonergan or hislop to come in for dyson.

After watching him again on the weekend he is not fast, did some really smart things like tap on etc but his pace is a worry, not fast over first 5 metres and nearly got run down couple of times when got the ball after running for a bit and should have been at top pace.

His place is limited in the team with those 3 coming into contention with lovett, welsh and NLM also.

Injury updates first before everyone gets too carried away.
Lovett 4 weeks but with the split round in June it will be 5.
NLM as mentioned could be out for a while, more tests being done.Has done a bit of training but still has a lingering problem.
Gumby is still 3 weeks away.
Demspey should return for Bendigo after their bye. So 2 weeks.
Pev has a little question mark on him with some bruised ribs.
Dyson was restricted to running today but should be ok.
Welsh looks to be a good chance to return this week.

Cant see too many changes to the side myself. Welsh is the only one they would be looking to bring in at this stage.

He played round 1. I'm not saying that he will come straight beck in, but once he had match fitness, he is an automatic I would have thought.

Four pts. is a must this week personally I think we should win by 8 goals+.
3 season defining games after that so no injurys and everybody get some good run in our legs this week.
Could someone please tell me how Leroy Jetta is going?

75% of the reason we won was becuase that gimp that calls him a ruckman or whatever he calls himself was not there! Laycock should be nowhere near our side ever again. He is horrible and is frankly unfit!
