I rekon we'll be rather conservative and only make 1 possibly 2 changes.

Given What we kno about Lloyd, here is what I expect to happen
OUT:Bolton, Laycock, Heffernan
IN: Houli, Hille, NLM(if fit) otherwise Lonergan.
Don't know why he isn't already playing that role. He could be very effective for us in a similar role to what Chris Johnson does for Brisbane. People on this forum get too critical of players too soon.If MJ play he will have to be our small forward. Cant really see a math up for him in defence as North are too quick for him in that area.

out: bolton, watson. dyson, heffernan and ?????
Its rediculous to even suggest this, never going to happen. We lost but you dont upset team balance by changing nearly a quarter of the team.after a big loss to hawks and now we are goin a lil bit off course we need a thew changes...

Actually cant agree , have seen the Hawks three times live this year and they set up the zone when the ball is in their forward 50 before it comes back out. They work extremly hard to push back to set it up. The way to beat it is to do what the Bulldogs do/did to the Hawks. Have several players running hard through the zones or down the lines and force them to try and man up and secondly use the ball well. Have your one or two tall forwards in the goal square and if your half forwards, mids and half backs work hard enough you find space somewhere to run up and go over the zone or to force it backwards so players can lead from outside 50 into the area about 40 out.
Edwards vs Mal Michael/Fletcher - This will be very interesting. Edwards has a big tank and is very quick on the lead, and has easily the best contested mark at the club. Took 10 contested marks in the 1st half against C.Bolton, was the key to beating the swans. Fletcher could really hurt the Roo's with his rebound off of Half Back.
I doubt either of those guys will get Edwards as they will go to the bigger forwards Petrie and Leigh Brown.
Would love to see Davey and Campbell match up and see who is fastest. Won't happen as they both will play forward pocket. Campbell would just about match Davey for pace I reckon - he is very quick. Campbell's defensive pressure is excellent and is an terrific snap off both feet.
The one to watch for you guys is Jesse Smith. Only played his first game for two years against the Swans, but he was sensational in the last quarter when the pressure was on.
Is Lloyd in or out?
Should be a good game Friday night, looking forward to it.
At this stage Lloyd looks to be out.
Antrobus, if he's done the hammy, can you suggest to Doc Reid that he protect Lloyd and keep him out until the Richmond game.
In: Lonergan Houli Hille
Out: Bolton Heffernan Dyson
Campball quicker than Davey? Doubt it.
Anyways i'd wait for the VFL today. I'd be surprised if Lloyd played, Hille will come in i'd assume. Lonergan and Houli can really push there claims today with strong showings.
I can confirm that heffernan is out and Houli in.
