Why would you want LT out of the team? He's been good!

I don't, he can have Sam Gray's spot. And Lindsay's only got a year or two max left in him anyway.

That said, I don't have any problem with Marshall going back to the SANFL to find form this week, because his form hasn't yet really recovered from his layoff (and fair enough too, I don't blame him at all for that). But IMO a fit and firing Dixon, Marshall and Watts are all in our best 22, and we should be trying to work towards a structure where we can play all three, not deliberately avoiding it.

It's going to be tough on one of Sam, LT or Marshall come Grand Final day as there's only 2 spots for the 3 of them.

Confirmed -

OUT: Marshall, Trengove, Hombsch
IN: Jonas, Watts, DBJ

Great depth at the moment and very tough for the players going out. Let get the win!
Look that is great ins if true. Would have liked to see Trengove to get another, but our depth is so strong at the moment. Yes DBJ wasn’t great in the SANFL, but he’s been strong all year and doesn’t deserve to lose his spot.

Surely Kenny hasn’t played his hand early again? Poor Trengove if true.

Can't really argue,

Feel for Trengove. But it is what it is.

Marshall probably best to release him from the pressures of AFL for the moment.

Confirmed where?

If so Watts for Marshall is the right call and Jonas for Hombsch is obvious but I strongly disagree with Trengove for DBJ. Byrne-Jones does not deserve to be rewarded with an AFL game this week.

A home game against 16th is the perfect time to make a statement and set standards that our players are expected to follow, even if it means not necessarily naming the absolute best team we could. Bringing DBJ back after breaking team rules last week and then playing a lazy and shit game in the SANFL, and dropping Trengove for him who has worked his arse off all year for a shot and then performed well when he got it, is the absolute antithesis of that.

DBJ has been solid without being outstanding. Much like Trengove last week. I don't think we lost anything obvious last week so give him another go. Plus why would he be trotted out for media interviews this week if they were dropping him?

Three changes to a winning side is not something we're really used to. If true, there's been a pretty big change in attitude from the coaches box since late last year.

If true I can live with it, but a bit rough on Trengove.
SGary's form has dropped of late (has also been ill); Could possibly drop Sam, move Ebert into his high forward / link role and Trengove into the middle.

I don't know. Carlisle won it for us last year by bombing that unpaid deliberate to give us the throw-in that Paddy tapped to Robbie. And also by not being on the goal line and protecting it with his 201 cm frame, instead giving the 188 cm Tim Membrey the responsibility of touching the ball. Which he did but only when it was a hand's width over the line.
