Good to see some changes after a poor showing against Carlton. Feel for Todd but his output has been low and he’s struggling. Isn’t it good though we have the depth. Saints have some big outs so this is a perfect time for us to stamp our creditianals on a top 4 position.

I see AJs strengths. Lightning speed, tackles like a machine and hits as hard as anyone since Pickett, but he's an ordinary kick, he struggles to find much of the pill, his defensive pressure is rarely really outstanding, hes injury prone, and he's never really done much at SANFL level.
I hope he finds a new level, but right now im with ya, im not exactly sure why the coaches are so excited about him.

I'm concerned that with Neade out and now Sam Gray we are not short enough in our forward line.
He's replacing an injured player...
I might make him my player to watch this week as I probably haven't seen enough to be convinced as yet. Then again better judges here than me are saying yep....so eh.
looking forward to seeing Lindsay & Aidyn team up again, they were such a handful together at sanfl level, with Aidyn's youthfulness & Lindsay's experience. complimented each other well.

Byrne-Jones was never going to have to earn his spot back. Form wasn't the issue, he knew it and the Coaches knew it.
To be fair I don't see much SANFL but I just don't see in AJ what others do.

Pity he was injured the past few weeks because he would be playing on the half back flank now instead of Trengove and maybe even ahead of Pittard.

Lindsay has formed a close bond with Chad whose footy has lifted to a new level the past few weeks. Hopefully he can help Aidyn along the same path. Aidyn just has to stay fit. The coaches really rate him.

I think we're looking more at the long game here. Im sure All 3 could play together this week and it would work but i dont think its the correct setup to take on Richmond at the MCG in September. Very happy with these changes!!

Just on DBJ- he has never been good in the Sanfl, earn't his original call up through AFL preseason games and performed well ever since.
He is just one of those players who performs better in the higher level league.
We are better with him and he would have made a difference against Carlton imo.
