Sorry but Marshall and S Gray need to go out. Marshall’s a great kid but he’s playing injured and is offering nothing. Same as S Gray. We’ve got Thomas, Wingard and R Gray offering plenty of defensive pressure inside the fifty. Tough week of selections coming up depending on how the Magpies play.

I hope DBJ and Watts have a blinder today.
Ken needs to hang tough with his selections.

Would love young Marshall to have a rest for the shoulder and then regain some confidence and form in the Magpies. His body is still so slight and with him being ineffective atm Dixon is still getting double teamed.

He is averaging 22 disposals a game, almost 50% of those contested and about a goal a game. Not even playing as a consistent onballer. Is probably having his best season since 2014.

Do you also count his miss-kicks , wayward handballs and non efforts ?.

Clurey was terrible which was disappointing... Think he needed his mate T-shirt but perhaps he or Hombsh out.

If boak wasn't captain he'd be gone.

Todd will be our key forward for a decade. But atm his shoulder needs attention several times each match, and he cannot hold his ground in the contest atm because of it.
No knock on him. Just needs to build confidence at a lower level for a couple of weeks.
Watts does ok today and he is back in.

He's simply not doing enough. Watts needs to come in for him.

Cluzza was fantastic. He was great defensively, his marking was great, his disposal and movement were fantastic. I thought he was our best after the Hoff.

Potentially. It might be that he gets moved there, although I'd suggest Gray comes out before Boak in any case.

It's a tough role to play when you're just getting used to the speed of AFL footy again

Carlton paid very little attention to Marshall. It allowed them to put more effort into Dixon.

I actually liked Motlops game. He was very danaging in bursts.

Polec seemed grumpy on the field?

Those changes are pretty obvious and should improve the side.

That's his biggest knock at the moment, at least once a game he burns a golden scoring opportunity and gifts the opposition a team-lifting HTB decision through poor awareness. Fix that and he's playing the role well enough.

If he marks the ball he can take as long as he likes to find a perfect pass, but when it’s a hot footy, hurry up.

Saw on at least two occasions the ball was sent in high. It wasn't a good kick for him and he was out of position but he didn't even put up a token challenge. Even just a hand up can get in your opponent's line of vision and cause him to drop the ball.

100% agree about the outside run. We have finally started seeing more linking up play but it's always the same couple, or rather few players that provide it
Sooner or later it will become predictable to opposition coaches and could dry up again. There is definitely room for another outside player.

Thing is we don’t actually play into the forward line expecting to hit a leading forward, Watts will still have to play Kens-Chaos-Forward-Structure-TM
