Swans have Grundy and ladhams and Buller and McLean up front and ruck

Not surprised Teakle came in for Finbar. Predicted it in CCJ thread. CCJ can't battle Grundy alone. Was him or Wawson.
Thought logue might come out but they must be moving one of Dawson or Chom forward.
Swans have three tall fwds in Bullard, McLean and McInerney, so need three talls down back.
Try and stretch Swans undersized defense with no McCartin with three talls at time.

Given Larkeys absence I’d prefer we play one less tall across the ground, which is the structure we will likely go to for the last quarter. I’d be going with:

FF: Konstanty, Darling, Curtis
HF: Harvey , Teakle, Zurhaar

with Banch rotating as the 7th forward off the bench. Logue to come out of the backline and have Comben, Pink and Dawson as the back 3. We will desperately need to take some marks with the setup we’re going in with. Excited to see Banch play although will very likely will be sub if it’s not Konstanty.

I don't mind it. Swans don't have McCartin. Hopefully we stretch Blakey, Rampe and Melican.
Swans have also got Hamling on their bench as well. So don't think the talls will hurt us.
Teakle doesn't have to be on the ground the whole time, can rotate with CCJ in ruck role.

Larkey's been very average for much of the year.

Its not like the absence of Lmac leaves us with mismatches. Konstanty and FOS can take care of their medium forwards.

X is the big out and the only one that worries me. Gotta hope the coaches' optimism around CCJ is warranted.

You could have passed this advice onto Clarko last week - it would have helped.

I think its possible, might depend on conditions and who knows maybe Clarko is going to pull a swifty at the last minute, either way i reckon we are going to be very competitive

I have heard the boys don't like to change their boots - even when they know the conditions will be slippery - it hurts their toes and they get sore feet. I when I say 'boys' I mean the firsts for NMFC.
