He was sighted 10 metres behind the nearest opponent and barely raised a gallop in the second half. Was a liability. How much of that lack of effort came down to head and heart?

Not that it means anything but counting preseason and R1, Butch has been by far our best tall forward.

He was spent as was half our team. Freo just edged us out on hitting targets when it mattered late. They were spent as well but they handled it just a little bit better than us.

Tend to agree with Young and Lobbe for Butcher and Neade.

I'd be tempted to drop Westhoff for that performance but the safest route will probably be to drop Butcher for Lobbe, and give White or Neade the vest and let Monfries play the full game. Wouldn't mind seeing Krakouer, Young or Moore get the call up, but the important thing is to get our tall forwards to produce something.
