Anyone see Parkins analysis of the game on League Teams? It's dead set laughable. Labelled Mundy a B grader. The rest of the panel just blinked at him repeatedly!
Really? He's changed his opinion then. I remember a couple of years back he stated that Mundy was "An absolute A grader". Personally, I think he's having one of his better seasons (early, but he's been on fire) so I don't see how he's gone from A to B. Maybe dementia is setting in or something.

The sub rule is the bane of all clubs. Blokes can't show enough in a quarter, need to scrap it. Still don't really see the point of it.

#subthesubrule
I think it will go, especially as they are more than likely going to bring the interchange cap down further. I'd be surprised if it's still being applied in 2017.

Wasn't Parkin mentoring Mora or something? Perhaps something went awry there and we told him to rack off.

Like Mzungu in, definitely improves the side. Am a bit worried how the young guys aren't getting much of a shot but can't blame Lyon for sticking with the side if it is getting the wins. Hopefully we start to integrate the guys like Crozier and Sheridan as we get into the easier stretch coming up.

I see them getting more of a run when we come across teams like Melbourne - this week is just too important

i couldn't be happier than when the experts write us off
start of the year they all had us falling back to at least 6th this year,
i"m a little uncomfortable with the fapping thats been done over our recent form,
though our form backs it up,its only april plenty of work to do yet

Ballantyne > Mzungu
Round 2 > round 4
Don't agree. If push comes to shove I'd have Mzungu. Does more around the park. Ballas slips over too much.
Either way they are completely different roles they play so it's a stupid comparison to start with.

He had Mundy and Neale as B graders! All 3 of the others said 'uh they are A graders'

Our youngsters just aren't good enough yet!

I'm sure once the season progresses and the expected injuries start , we'll see the youngsters get a shot. Then it's up to them to play well enough to hold their spot.We are in a great spot right now.
Exactly we all knew the first 4 games will dictate how we fare. After this round I suspect we'll see some of the younger players getting games.

To be fair, Neale hasn't broken into A grader category... yet. Solid B+, but if he keeps his current form up he'll hit A grade status for sure. Calling Mundy a B grader is pretty farkin ridiculous though, especially as Parkin has labeled him an A grader in the past. His form certainly hasn't gone backwards.

Yep Playing a side like Sydney will give him a clip behind the ears (That RTB promised).

Did you see the comparison between Mitchell and Neale at the same stage of their careers? Neale had him easily. Fantastic little player. What staggers me is right from the start RTB said we had "pinched one" in the draft. Very good eye for talent.

Underrated physicality too.

Have a distinct memory of a game a few years back where the Saints tanked us. I remember Mzungu running into our defensive goal square and getting worked off it so easily by Schneider or someone, who kicked the goal.

Area of his game he's definitely improved on :thumbsu:

Early on many of us were frustrated at his "noodle arms" and inability to stick tackles. Then LeCras ran into him and broke his forearm and we had to re-assess. I think it was Rob Murphy who said he was one of the toughest guys to play on in the comp.

One of my fav moments of last year was when Zung and Subes were caught arguing at quarter time. Subes had tried to line up Zung drifting in to the 50 but Zung took a bad line. They were pretty heated heading off.

Next quarter it clicked. Subes nailed the pass, Zung converted, the lads high fived, I wee'd a little.

The comparison was about who adds more strength to the team. Last year Ballantyne was AA, our leading goal kicker and came 5th in the B&F. Mzungu didn't make the top 10
