Prediction changes v Sydney

Sutty got touched up by the French man in the second half, any repeat of that against the Swans will spell big trouble.

Yep that's true. But everyone has an off game. Better to do it when 78 points up.
Don't think he is in the firing line for a while yet.

Very harsh. No defender has much of a chance when the mids have put their feet up..
I thought he was pretty reasonable. Defended pretty well one on one and cut off some attacks too. As much as it pains me to praise an Eagle, Frenchy is an A grader. He's going to beat most guys if he's getting enough delivery.

RTB talked up a number of players in Peel, especially Pearce, Mzungu and Blakely. Reckon Gu may come in... but can't see De Boer/Suban tackling machines coming out against Sydney - we need our manic pressure to make a return to shut Sydney down.

In Mzungu Out De Boer

Need Gu's pace, run, skills against Swans. Deboer is a work horse but I don't think his playing style is suiting the game plan.

I thought DeBoer was pretty good today. Did some really nice things around the stoppages.
Suban was ok but he's never going to get any smarter and he is a moral to get caught with the ball (numerous times) by Sydney's pressure and tackling. He seem to be this years project for Ross though so he's probably not going to come out of the team.
Seems harsh for Croz to get 1 quarter and come out but I expect thats most likely if they want Gu in.

With team changes anyone got views or take on Sydney s personnel and how we match up? I always find it hard to get a read on them but I note that gws got relatively close. Anyone watch that game?

I really want to see Sheridan back in the side. Wish we could play 25 so we can squeeze in Sheridan, Mzungu and Ballantyne after he serves his suspension.

Had more to do with the fact the midfield switched off and the pressure on players moving the ball forward was non existent. Ignore everything that happened after half time.

It is so Ross Lyon to just cruise to the end. No big deal.

what's really going on with Mzungu?? he was best player for Peel 2 weeks in a row.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Goodes play next weekend
