Every win brings you closer to a loss. I hope we rest Tex and Sloane, drop this game then fire up again for the West C game.
1-4mm forecast, but most of it expected to be early in the day.Sydney are too tall for this match. Hopefully it rains even more tomorrow.
Only showers forecast in the morning... and only 1-4mm. So in all likelihood it will be fine come game time.Sydney are too tall for this match. Hopefully it rains even more tomorrow.
Snap!1-4mm forecast, but most of it expected to be early in the day.
That's our best 22 for the season.
Isn't it the same as last week? The minute they show someone hobble off the ground, the screams for not resting players will be deafening.
Our strongest team so far in 2017.
Had two weeks suspended but they had the bye as well. So three weeks off in all.I'm curious as to why Cheney is in as an emergency.
He didn't play last week, was he suspended in SANFL?

Training form > SANFL form I guess, must be doing fairly well in match sim drills.Suspended received a 2-week ban for striking Norwood's Peter Bampton First game back this week.
I guess beating Sydney and finishing top is now nothing. Good to know.
What about the Bombers in 2000?
Fresh, fit, experienced, a good choice as coverage for Kelly in a possible hard game, but still a surprise.Training form > SANFL form I guess, must be doing fairly well in match sim drills.
Finishing top in the minor round is only a thing that you cling to, to make you feel warm and cuddly inside; beyond that it means sweet **** all as top 1 and 2 get the same rewards.
Beating Sydney equally doesn't matter in our situation. The job for the minor rounds is done, and this arguably adds more risk than it is worth.

They lost sometime in 2001.

If I am not mistaken thats not entirely true.
Finishing top and winning in Week 1 means that you should be playing the prelim on a Friday night. ie an 8 day break.
I could be wrong, but I think thats how it works.
With that said, finishing 1st or 2nd is largely irrelevant in the sense that we wont have to travel for a prelim if we win in week 1.
I would rather finish 2nd and get the players closer to 100% injury free.
I still reckon we'll go in unchanged. Pyke has been hammering continuity in his pressers.
