Love the analogy and the caution makes little sense to me as well. I’m now to the point we’re the injury concern is a non factor because one more and he’s done for the year anyway. The priority has now shifted to AFL match fitness. We’ve only got 4 opportunities left now which is tight as it is he has to play if he gets through this week!
Agreed but the only caution I would have with a Eliott vs let’s say Fas is his recent history of injury. Same as Moore. Yes, need him for clinch games to secure a spot in the finals but also need to fine tune best we can to be cherry ripe at the pointy end of the season.

Injuries now maybe won’t permit though with most of our players on the verge.

So am I but it was a nasty hit and concussion, Bucks said post game Howe had blurred vision and couldn’t read the scoreboard when he came off. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he misses.
He could well miss.
One soldier down and another comes in.
This is our year.

Gutted for Shaz.

We will have to find a way to cover him. Great to have Moore back and in good form, if he was still injured we would be totally screwed. Mihocek has the ability to play back. Although Reid hasn't played back in a long time he could go back there too if need be. Jack Madgen and McLarty as further cover. Goldsack a potential in too.

It's still coming home. Let's do it for Matt and Lynden.

Not sure how you talk up Brown and then drop Daicos.

No upside to Daicos then.

Daicos has had a good go at it and IMO he is going to be a longer term project. Our game plan is trying to stop the rebound and tie the ball in our forward half. Daicos shows he can be clean when in space but around traffic he's a liability. He cant stick tackles and jumps at shadows. It's going to take time. Brown on the other hand suits our game style, shows more aggression and gets involved at the contest.

In: Madgen, Elliott, Aish
OUT: Shaz, Howe (Maybe), Mayne.

Sorry?....l read your post mate, wont happen dude. You dont make wholesale changes over a week or two. We are a side sitting in the top 4, why make wholesale changes. The only automatic selections are Reid, DeGoey and Treloar, and even he (Treloar) wont be back till finals. Elliott, Aish, Fasolo etc could be intergrated back in considering VFL form.

I called out someone elses post... that person was calling for 7 changes.

in effect i said that was ridiculous and that should never happen.

Now read it again... and renew my faith in other peoples ability to admit when they've made a mistake.

Duuude????

You also dropped Daics, Brown, Varcoe and Mayne... and ruled out Shaz and Howe for next week.

That's 7 changes!!!

Anyone would think we just got pumped by Carlton!

7 changes with our injury list!!!

Calm ya farm mofo

Here's the post Dead Eye Didak.

I don't think they'll play Reid back. He will be in our forward line to create a contest and Mihocek will probably go back. I don't see Reid having the mobility and tank to play back anymore.

F*** you injuries, if you were tangible you'd become familiar with the taste of Gray Nicolls you c***!

F***** injuries have broken our camels back, my optimism that I had is gone now.

We'll face an angry swans on their home deck next week, bye bye top 4 and wouldn't be surprised if we miss finals altogether. All because of that f***** a**hole injuries.

Not happy Jan!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

McClarty or Magden l wouldnt be putting anywhere near Franklin next week, he will kick a bag, because Sydney will play Franklin through either of them.

Gonna kick bag regardless coz we got no players left, any way you want to dissect it or boil it down we're f*****.

Pretty sure I didn't see this yesterday he had 2 opportunities to put his body on the line yesterday but toe poked a kick that was turned over

Sorry but this is simply untrue, Daicos' pressure and tackling is really underrated on this board. And I have no idea what on about with Daics ability in traffic.

Just yesterday I posted that the "system" we play can cover injuries - I was wrong.

As much as the way we play can offset missing personnel, there is a point where you just can't cover - continuity is key. That's what our opposition have and we don't.

Footy gods take note of this following statement:

GO AND GET F*****!
