Gee, just calculated that from 45 players on our list (inc rookies), we have already played 37.
This is almost as bad as a couple of years ago (38) and it is likely we will beat that this week.

The big difference is we now sit 3/4 despite our injuries.

Richmond have used 31 and none to cover injuries to top players although I do think that Houli is up there.
Oh nooooo. They're missing Houli. Must be soooooo hard for them with such a significant injury list.

My post really wasn't about them, it more about us and how despite almost equaling our highest turnover in players, we are in the top four.

Oh no. I wasn't taking a shot at you. Just pissed off at the audacity of Tigers fans calling us pretenders and mocking our injuries when they've had such a pampered run themselves.

Sorry if it came across that way.

Fair enough. I am amazed we have done as well as we have given our injuries, was just comparing past years.

Out: Scharenberg (inj)
In: Elliott (or Fasolo)
Clearly not a like-for-like but I’d roll Mihocek back to cover Schaz and play Elliott or Fasolo as the lead up the wing option.

Out: Mayne (omitted)
In: Aish
Maybe a bit harsh on Mayne as I think he’s been ok and a few players haven’t performed as well I think. This keeps the structure the same though, gives Aish a month of footy before finals, he’s genuine best 22 for me.

Out: Daicos (omitted)
In: Sier
Daicos has had a good run at it but he’s one of a number of players that probably need to be replaced come finals time. I like what Sier brings to the table. Could have Brown, Varcoe and Greenwood as well as Mayne fighting for a spot as well.

If applicable - Out: Howe (inj)
If applicable - In: Madgen
Just following the crowd with this one. Hopefully Howe pulls up ok.

B: Langdon, Moore, Maynard
HB: Howe, Mihocek, Crisp
C: Aish, Pendlebury, Phillips
HF: Hoskin-Elliott, Elliott, Greenwood
F: Stephenson, Cox, Thomas
R: Grundy, Adams, Sidebottom
INT: Murray, Varcoe, Brown, Sier

I count 35 players used this year.
As Goldsack and Elliott no games at all this year.

Happy to be corrected but on memory this far No games to:

Elliott, Goldsack, McLarty, Kirby, Murphy, Wills, Brown T, Oxley, Madgen, Lynch.

If Howe doesn't recover from his concussion then moving Mihocek to defence and bringing in McLarty seems the best option.

It might even be an option anyway given we have to replace Scharenberg already.

McLarty impressed today I thought.

COLLINGWOOD star Jamie Elliott has been dealt yet another setback after re-injuring his left hamstring in the VFL on Sunday.
Stick a fork in him.

Murray and Phillips hurt us against the Tigers. Murray butchered the ball and fumbled a lot. Phillips heard footsteps, can't hold a tackle and constantly turned over the ball. Hardness at the contest should be non negotiable. He lowered his colours a few times yesterday. I think they can both be very good players if they work on aspects of their games. They were both great early in the year. I would bring in sier and aish for those two. It's not like for like but would be a better list. Shaz and Howe is whole other kettle of fish... We are doing exceptionally well this year considering our injuries. Puts in very stead for a push at the flag next year. Could steal something this year if all the stars align, but have no right to.

Assuming Howe is ok likewise Sier.
For me Sier in for Shazz Aish in for Murray
Maynard Moore Crisp
Langdon Howe Aish
Phillips Sidebottom Mayne
Whe Mihicek Varcoe
Thomas Cox Stephenson
Grundy Adams Pendles
Greenwood Daicos Brown Sier

Ok....I wasn't going to do this but I can see the cupboard is almost bare

I'm getting my old jumper out and dusting off the boots
I'll take Buddy, what are the rest of ya gonna be doing?;)
Same as what we all do at BF... Pick out the one mistake you did, and amplify it x 1000, then call for your blood and demand you be delisted (even though you kept Buddy to 1 mark and 1 handball for the day):D

Could possibly change this week.

Out: Howe, Scharenberg& Murray (and hopefully never to be seen again)
In: Aish, McClarty & Fasolo (on name alone)

Really struggle to see how we can continue to go on with our injuries and play guys like Langdon, Adams and Murray all in the same team. Poor users of the ball and whilst they are fine when a part of a greater collective, they cant be in the same side when we are struggling for class.

Bugger off.

Bugger off.

The three of them have terrible disposal both by hand and foot. Langdon and Adams are absolutely 100% required players, Murray hasn't proven anything yet.

Our entry inside F50 over the past few weeks has been sub par, we need to look to bring out efficiency up, all around the ground in honesty. Murray out achieves this.

It was your comment about hoping to never see Murray again that I told to bugger off. I’m sick of reading shit like this from so called supporters. The kid is doing all he can, not good enough for you though.
