Swanny did his ankle a couple of years ago didn't he? Like 2016? Johnson hasn't played since the 2012 GFCorrect me if I am wrong but did he do his knee in the same game Swan did his ankle??
Good luck to him anyway...….deserves a clear run at it now.![]()

It's going to be interesting to see what we decide to do as we look to cover the absence of Scharenberg.
To me it all comes down to what end of the ground we value Mihocek more at presently as he would appear the logical option to replace Scharenberg/Dunn.
So do we plug a hole in defence only to open up one in attack or do we stick with a tall forward combination we like and trial Madgen.
Must admit I'd love McLarty to be given an opportunity up forward as I like the boy.
Alex Johnson back for the Swans. Could either be a cue in the rack, but more likely a bit of a motivator for them. Of course it's against us.
I care who wins, but good luck to him. Great persistence.
My two concerns this week:
I would feel much more comfortable if the Swans still played us at Homebush - can't say the Pies have ever really played their best footy at the SCG.
The media are getting stuck into some of the experienced Sydney players - with their season almost on the line I will be amazed if they don't respond strongly.
They do look just about cooked to me, but these two factors do bother me.
This game is totally ripe for that whole Bloods culture thing. Do they still do that?
a bit like North and their alleged shinboner spirit. This game is totally ripe for that whole Bloods culture thing. Do they still do that?
I say more of a Motivator
About once a month ...This game is totally ripe for that whole Bloods culture thing. Do they still do that?
Menzel also played his comeback game against us, Ironically
Sides dont use moments for inspiration, every player from each side will be desperate to win this one.
We need to win because we have failed against top 8 sides this year and Sydney need to win because their season is looking shaky.
In all the motivating factors, we still have a quick, fast moving game that Sydney struggle to contain, and our forward line will be tough for them to stop because of the multiple scoring options we have, and they have key players struggling with injuries despite still playing them eg. Franklin and Kennedy
