Pendlebury's ankle is still sore. You could see it against Port Thursday night. The extra break will suit him.

No tag. It's not needed.

Sinclair and Hill have to play. Hill might be out of form but he still kicked his 2. If the game is close 2 goals from a player who doesn't get looked at can be like gold.

Sinclair created 2 goals last week. He might not kick any himself but he creates a contest and we need him to chop out for Nic in the ruck.

You ungrateful bastards.
I for one really appreciate your summaries with or without the *

It must take a bit of time to jot down all the points in detail and even the pressers I watch there's parts that I don't always pick up that you mention

Love your work - they deserve their own thread imo

Look out for my album: the best of bombard - coming to stores in time for Christmas.

I'm actually thinking of stopping the press conferences - club website appears to be doing transcripts all of a sudden - but guided by others if they still feel it's useful.

#standbybombard

Deserves its own thread, and bombard is an upstanding poster who won't promise to do something and not deliver. Like the guy from the highlights thread. Or that other guy who said he'd put the weekly heat maps up.

That's because they're similar quality at ground level only Darling is better overhead and more likely to get the ball kicked to him. Defensively speaking Hill isn't at Darings level either.

As it stands Hill has no role. He's not got any midfield application due to his weak contested game and poor ball winning ability, he's an average crummer and doesn't isn't a contested marking specialist.

We could get more from playing Duggan forward IMO.

Hill's a natural forward with the ability to play small and compete in the air, and we don't have any reserve smalls banging the door down. He hits the scoreboard and complements the gameplan at stride.

He'll be given a chance to make amends for last Saturday (had a shocker for sure), I can easily see him kicking a couple of clutch goals and ending with 3. Either way, we'll see what he's got.

Hill has got some credits in the bank. Saying that Duggan would be as effective as a permanent forward is laughable.

Sounds like Duggan will come straight back in, probably at the expense of Hutch. Sub will be an interesting decision, Scooter seems the obvious choice for mine but Hill might be a chance too.
I suspect Simpson will opt not to tag Pendles but if he does I can see Rosa matching up fantastically on him, would be worth experimenting if Pendles is having a big night.

Dunno I agree with the sentiment re: Cloke. Kicked 5 in June 2012 and 3 in August 2013, but the remaining 4 games since 2012 hes kicked 0 twice and 1 twice.

Both of those 1 goal games were in 2014.

Normally I'm not too worried about Cloke when we play the pies, because we normally have Emac to monster him. I'd hate to think of what will happen if schofield is caught out in a one on one against him too often though. He'll be kicking points from everywhere.

Just have to make sure Schoey gets him into less dangerous areas like 20m out directly in front

If Cloke manages to isolate him 50m out on the boundary, Cloke is going to have a field day
