How? Trengrove is a tall. Gowers is a medium like for like for Dale. 90% chance of rain tomorrow. 5-10mm rain expected.I would have had Trengrove in absolute miles before Gowers.. Just utter lunacy

Granted we could have picked Dickson or McLean instead of Gowers. But bringing in a tall for a wet game is insane.Playing 1 short is better than playing billy. Trengove could rotate with Tim and give him a break up forward. Only playing 1 tall up forward at the moment so it can work.
How many last chances does the guy get? You’d think this is Gowers last chance to really show something or else we’ll start trying other options.

Yep. With Weightman and Porter in the mix, the bigger body makes sense from a balance point of view.In the wet, the bigger body of gowers should be an asset.
Hopwfully he has a rourke like effect in the wet, like last year against Port
He's injuredHe might lack talent. But at least we know Gowers will give 100% effort. He knows his career is on the line. I’m glad he’s in for Dale. Dale’s defensive efforts of late have been below AFL standard and deserves to be dropped.

Everyone already bidding Toby farewell.. Similar things were said about Bailey Williams and he re-signed weeks later.
No it's not necessarily sometimes players come in and take the spot you occupied no matter how you try. In that case looking forPea heart mentality from some fans in here and if McLean is thinking the same way, he can fu** right off!!
Maybe he can fix what happened against the Suns last year and this time around he kicks straightNot bad, shocking. Porter ok, not Gowers. We just don’t win with him in

Why do we think players will just want to up and leave because they’ve been left out for a few games? McLeans only 24 and he’s been out of form for 18mths FFS.
Why wouldn’t us supporters expect him to harden up and fight for his spot. Rather than just expect him to leave.

Glad he stayed and am sure club is also and I will be glad if Toby stays he will find his place he’s too good not to.
How popular is C.Porter ? Going by video announcing his first game he is popular. Hope the team puts in an extra effort to make it memorable for him.

somewhere else with a different list profile is smart. Sports people only have relatively short careers, so optimizing that time or
getting a refresher or hearing a different voice should not attract such negativity. The Bulldogs got rid of more than a few players
who in all reality were probably very happy to stay, you can't have it both ways.
