Against Witts I'd bring in Sweet to bash and crash and play English fwd 50% of the game alongside Bruce.

Oddly enough the only player who I didn't think added anything structurally or on the stats sheet was Wood.

Like against the bombers we look to have superior midfield to the Suns especially with Rowell out. The suns look like they have a better forward line than the bombers so we need to control this area. Tim will find it harder to dominate against Witts but is coming along nicely. Again our forward line is the question mark without Naughton. If we stop their rebound we win this one. Feeling confident we have the longer break which will also help. Probably one change Vandermeer rested for either Dickson or West.

Suns have 3 of the top 11 intercepting players in the game so they will control the air unless we bring another tall in. Schache logical due to size but hes a hit up player not a contested marking player... You would think Libba needs a break more than anyone at some stage so id expect mclean to come in for him

Trengrove is the ideally selected tall in wet conditions. His clearance work in the ruck is pretty good and he is easily the most developed and strong bodied option we have.

If it was wet conditions would suit him. Very physical player, set shots and field kicking real good for a big man too.

Suckling played his best game in 2-3 years IMO. I'm not usually a fan, though if he sustains the form of last night, maybe he'll get another year. Must play wing/forward, not HB. His ball use last night was very good.
