Geez, very brief statement from the club. Not ideal and hope he gets through the issue, whatever it may be.

So as it sits, Porter in for Hunter. I don't mind if that's the only change tbh. Perhaps Cal plays more inside and Jacko plays full time wing, or could Hayes come in and play that role? Only 30mins til we find out.

Hunter out is blow. Hope he and his family is o/k. I imagine he will be out for a fair period. Some things spring to mind but it is not good to speculate.

Definitely hope Lachie is okay..... must be terrible for a player to be listed as out for personal issues. Everyone will always start wondering why and then assuming all sorts of crap. Hardly personal then......
But I sincerely hope whatever the reasons he has good support around him and works through whatever it is soon. We need him back

We've shown a willingness to play Macrae on the wing, so hopefully it's that and not Hayes. Could mean Porter is getting midfield minutes, although McLean would probably feel pretty filthy about that

Lipinski, Richards, Vandermeer and Lachie Young should be enough I think. Macrae was very good on the inside last match and with Dunkley out it would be a big step away from our best inside midfield group.

like for like change with dale only other options would have been Greene if we wanted a like for like as McLean and west aren’t marking forwards and couldn’t go smaller either with only Bruce up there as it is. I’m not a gowers fan but it makes sense as a swap for dale

A Gowers, Cordy, Suckling half forward line is an interesting one. Gowers the only one I'd consider a natural forward, though Suckling has a great boot and served us well there last week. I expect Cordy to be around the ground.
