A Gowers, Cordy, Suckling half forward line is an interesting one. Gowers the only one I'd consider a natural forward, though Suckling has a great boot and served us well there last week. I expect Cordy to be around the ground.
Clearly Hunter is dealing with personal issues. This isn't about us as a team. It doesn't suck because we just got him back. It sucks that he's dealing with personal injuries.
Don’t blame Toby McLean but he won’t be sticking around can see him asking for a trade

Effort had and will never been the thing he has lacked.Gowers better put some effort in or ill melt
He has a much stronger body then dale so that should serve us well in the conditions. Hope he doesn't have any brain fadesEffort had and will never been the thing he has lacked.
A bit too simplistic but am confident Gowers will at least provide more than Dale has recently.Bloody gowers
I think Cal Twomey said a Few days ago that a few clubs are keeping a eye on Toby McLeanThere are a lot of teams who could play him in their best 22 without question. Wouldn't be surprised. North maybe.
Naturally as a supporter it's very easy to put the team first, but in a situation like this, morally I think we should be focusing most of our attention to being sympathetic towards the individual. Can it not suck for both reasons?

Can't accept that Gowers is a better option than McLean. McLean hasn't been great but he's got a lot more ability and versatility than Gowers. Gower's has no form to warrant selection. Also, has Tory Dickson been pensioned off?
In Porter & Gowers, P&G Peter Gordon, co-incidence maybe, maybe not.
Over 300 metres gained in his two games Louis Butler, raw yes, but somewhat effective.Louis Butler is an emergency, L B Luke Beveridge
Agreed and so he should, it is a joke a player like Gowers can be selected before him.Toby McLean he won’t be sticking around can see him asking for a trade
I remember a couple of years ago we were playing Gowers as our CHF. It did not end well at all.
How the hell did Gowers get a game?Surely McLean, or West
