Any idea why we put Harwood on the long term injury list (to uptrend hammer) with a supposed 6-8 week injury when bell is 'out for the season'

Seems odd.

Long term injury list means he can't be called back into the team for 8 weeks. Can be recalled for the 9th and taken off the long term injury list. Given he is in a brace for 6 weeks and will need to recondition for up to 4 weeks he meets the 8 week off criteria and another newbie who has been performing in the 2s get a chance. Another new blood starting his run in to the premiership we will be challenging for in 2020.

So you're saying we're dismantling talk of tanking? I mean those are tanks that are sitting at a dismantling yard waiting to be taken apart.... ;)

Why are you drinking Corona out of a glass?

I look classier when drinking Corona out of a glass because I can tell people it's urine, not Corona.

Why wouldn't they be happy? Intensely mediocre, overpaid, underperforming footballers, who because of a market that no-one willingly comes to, have completely undeserved tenure.
You say "great spirit and camaraderie," I say, taking the piss.
In the video there of Hammer's debut announcement it seemed to me that the most happy and camaraderous (?) were the younger brigade - particularly the ones that would have come through the academy together.

Labeling those guys with the words that you've used would be a bit unfair in my opinion.

Yep, they were definitely cameradering the hardest.

Doesn't the lime give it away?

Richmond v Brisbane (MCG) 1.40pm

Richmond’s bye extends into its second week with this training drill against the second best AFL team in Queensland.

Being second best in Queensland is pretty bad considering the number one team sits in 16th spot.

It will be interesting to see what sort of crowd shows up for this one. It’s going to be 13 degrees on Saturday in Melbourne. I can’t see many looking at this and thinking that it’s worth leaving somewhere with heating.

Those people are soft though. Just sit in the Long Room like I do. Perfectly warm in there and a glass of the good whiskey is just $49.95.

While the Tigers will win this, it’s been a very disappointing season and they aren’t playing for finals. I wonder what they are playing for? Pride? I think that ship has sailed too. Perhaps they are playing ‘because they are contractually obligated’.

The Lions though could probably get out of their contractual obligations if they asked, no one would really mind if we didn’t have to watch them again this year.

The only thing stopping me being 100 per cent confident that Richmond will win this, is the fact it’s Richmond.

Do richmond play a hard tagger? I feel this could be richs game.

I don't think Rich needs a hard tagger to have his influence nullified right now. A warm body making contact should do the trick.
Doesnt even need to be warm. Bernie could shut him down.

You're right, the kids are okay. It's the rest of them...
