yep, clay will be mostly forward i reckon, maybe pinch hit in middle if someone needs to be polaxed, so his kicking skills will be reduced to the one dynamic he does very well, sneaking goals.

I don't think Cordy is lucky as such.

He's simply the best option at CHF that we have on our list which is a scary thought.

Cordy and no Campbell? Would have thought a contested mark inside f50 is more important than ever in a final. Bevo possibly playing Cordy as a defensive forward on McGovern. And no McLean. I suspect that he may be one that will thrive on the pressure of finals football. I look forward to him bringing manic pressure in the forward line. When you combine this with his ability to hit the scoreboard its combination that at this point of time has him better suited to the occasion than the likes of McLean who can bring the mercurial but also the flake.

I think the weather also plays a part. Give me Clay on the damp ground over McLean. Given Subi is so narrow as well, Mclean wouldn't get a lot of space to work in.

Seems like a reasonable call. Hamling has hit some really good form, and we seem to have preferred a Moz + Wood + only 1 other tall structure when possible this season.

Like the ins,I actually agree with this selected side pretty much 100%. Not getting carried away as I wouldn't be surprised if one of Libba,Macrae or Wood still miss,especially Wood. Roberts to come in if Wood isn't right and McLean if it's one of the other two.
Macrae is a huge in,apart from Murph he's been our biggest loss this year and the one we have struggled to replace.
Smith staying in is excellent. We have to many Onballers on the list and he at least seems to have some forward sense. Might not have the greatest disposal but him and Jong could be sensations in a final. A little surprised some are using H&A talk leading into a final. On that point I do hope those that take the field are 100% and we are not falling into the trap that has never worked ever of taking injured players into a final.
We can win this and if we can find our mojo who knows. The boys have been saying all year they want to make up for the loss against Adelaide last year so here's our chance.

There's a bit of wind which will help the oval dry out and Subiaco drains very well anyway so I don't think the ground will be all that damp come bounce down

That said the selection of brown for Jetta is bemusing as we look top heavy against your fleet of running players. Once the ball gets to ground level you guys will be able to expose us

Can see you guys trying to run us off our feet using short sharp ball movement and a lot of run and carry

Going to be an interesting game tactically if nothing else

Really glad that we've backed Clay in. Probably my favourite player now. I can't see Hrovat and Stevens being at the club next year after this.

Good luck tomorrow mate. We will leave nothing in the tank and give it our all and we've picked a team accordingly. If our pressure is great all game, we are in with a chance, but any lapses will be punished severely I suspect.
