Amon was good today, except the **** up in the last quarter. But why weren't his team mates there for him?I'll start by dropping Boak. How's that for a message?
Amon and O'Shea never to be seen again. Drop a few more "leaders" to reinforce the message.
Bring in whoever wants to play, I don't really care.

Correct . im not a fan of the Toump's , but Amon didn't deserve selection over him and he showed why , but by golly , how many times do the likes of him have to prove that they aren't up to it ?.I was against dropping Toumpas for Amon based on Jimmy actually being a 2 way runner, sure it probably didn't seal the result but it set a bad precedent.
We dropped a player who's been doing the right things defensively & offensively for a guy that didn't really earn his spot & doesn't doesn't like getting dirty in the trenches.
22 touches, a goal & a single tackle vs a guy who's trying his best to turn his career around averaging 4 tackles, 20 touches a week & does a shit ton of hard running that doesn't get highlighted.
As much as been made of Toumpas' lack of awareness/urgency I don't think he'd get run down like Amon did when the games on the line.
He could still hold his head high. He fought hard all day. More than some. His teammates probably weren't expecting him to go for a warm up jog inside Carlton's 50 when we were 10 points up with 5 minutes to go.
It's all well and good to say "where was the talk?", but anybody with half a brain wouldn't have needed to be told that he was under pressure while jogging out of a stoppage late in a close game.
Looked like he was in the sanfl. His teammates probably weren't expecting him to go for a warm up jog inside Carlton's 50 when we were 10 points up with 5 minutes to go.

Yeah it would give him some more time to get his beer tap pulling mastered.Boaks shit haircut and shit attitude would be a good out.
That doesn't mean much as we have AFL players that are not playing to div 5 ammos standards and they still continually get given games.Coz Butcher is not playing well enough in the SANFL. Howard easily above him in pecking order.
He looks like a flog.Yeah it would give him some more time to get his beer tap pulling mastered.
