Finals is done, although still theoretically a possibility. Can't see us beating anyone else before the bye.
I think Clurey, Howard and Toumpas should be given plenty of time.
Anyone who isn't 100% doesn't play. Senior players need to be made to adhere to a higher standard, if you don't or can't well at 100% you don't play. Some leeway can be given to the younger and developing lads.

If we don't want to play Butcher than give Howard and Austin a fair go.
As far as smalls go I would drop Amon and Neade, bring Toumpas back in as he looked to be improving and I would reward Mitchell for his effort in the SANFL.
People can bag Mitchell for his disposal all they like - is it really any worse than what we're seeing anyway and at least you know he'll give 100% all game?

I really don't care any more, i have never had a melt like this one, now i have to go to the F****** optician to get new glasses which nearly get stuck in the wall.
I was against dropping Toumpas for Amon based on Jimmy actually being a 2 way runner, sure it probably didn't seal the result but it set a bad precedent.
We dropped a player who's been doing the right things defensively & offensively for a guy that didn't really earn his spot & doesn't doesn't like getting dirty in the trenches.
22 touches, a goal & a single tackle vs a guy who's trying his best to turn his career around averaging 4 tackles, 20 touches a week & does a shit ton of hard running that doesn't get highlighted.
As much as been made of Toumpas' lack of awareness/urgency I don't think he'd get run down like Amon did when the games on the line.

Agreed, this loss has really gotten to me, i feel gutted, almost betrayed.
Who is responsible for our skills, because it's the same garbage at the Magpies.
Great call - Butcher would have given us a target to kick to. How man times did we go down the line only for carltons big men take the mark.
We have seriously messed up this year.
Why have Butcher on the list if you aint going to use him.
I wanted to like this more.
Coz Butcher is not playing well enough in the SANFL. Howard easily above him in pecking order.
