Why is there Stewart love from yesterday? the bloke is another liability with ball in hand

Whilst I tend to agree, he generally defends well and can take a mark.

It's just he is a blaster of the footy down the line. It often results in the ball coming straight back over his head. Bombed away to a 3 on 1 a few times yesterday, 1 cost us a goal.

Thanks for those top ups Gill.. We will be uncompetitive in the ruck for the rest of the year.
And possibly stuff up our China adventure. Thanks Gill, thank a lot.

I have said it before and I will say it again: We have no one but ourselves to blame for entering this year short of servicable ruckmen. 'Gill', for all of his gutlessness, cannot be blamed for our poor list management. Besides, ruck dominance is not the worst of our troubles right now, and Trengove is far more competitive and mobile than any top-up we could have found.

It not a good sign when Paul is being picked regularly it's like tracking backwards

In: Carlile, R.Gray, S.Gray, Howard
Out: Ah Chee, Amon, Krakouer, O'Shea

B: Thomas Jonas ~ Alipate Carlile ~ Jasper Pittard
HB: Darcy Byrne-Jones ~ Jack Hombsch ~ Matthew Broadbent
C: Jared Polec ~ Hamish Hartlett ~ Brad Ebert
HF: Robbie Gray ~ Charlie Dixon ~ Jarman Impey
F: Aaron Young ~ Justin Westhoff ~ Chad Wingard
R: Jackson Trengove ~ Travis Boak ~ Oliver Wines

Int: Dougal Howard ~ Sam Gray ~ Jake Neade ~ Paul Stewart

Emg: Karl Amon ~ Jimmy Toumpas ~ Jesse Palmer

Krak, Neade and Stew are safe. In comparison they did better than Ah Chee and Amon, though Amon tried harder this week. O'shea border line.

I honestle think it will only be one change, Robbie for Ahchee

Port Adelaide ruckman Dougal Howard has been offered a $200 fine and reprimand with an early guilty plea for kicking Eagles forward Lachlan McGregor at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Saturday.

The SANFL Incident Review Panel deemed Howard’s conduct was intentional while making low impact to McGregor’s body.

We defintely need another tall this week. My changes would be:

Gray > Neade (I'm not sold on his "defensive pressure" being enough to keep him in the team and is an offensive liability with poor skills and decision making)
Howard > O'Shea (Need the extra ruck support this week and O'Shea well the less said the better)
Clurey > Stewart (Because the future is more important than the now)
Toumpas > Amon (Reverse last week's mistake - Might be tough on Amon because he wasn't the worst but we've persisted with too many blokes who were probably not going to make it for too long and he just reminds me far too much of Lonie!!)
Carlile > Jonas (Horses for courses - a better match-up for their big forwards)

A few senior players get lucky because we're so thin on the ground at the moment and I'd still like to see Butch get a run but know it won't happen so why bother!?

I'll laugh if we beat West Coast this week. Huge danger game for them. Apart from last year we have a pretty good record against these flat-trackers.
Everyone calls us flat trackers yet I dont see Richmond, Port, Sydney and even North wininng games interstate. Lets see what happens Sat. If we loose then yes we are no hope for this season

Another year wasted unfortunately. Lots of outs too which suck, Ryder, Monfries, Schulz, White (Not going to mention Bobby because he is pure shit).

In the end, we won't win anything this year, nor in the coming years with this group of mentally fragile players.

In saying that, Ken give us something to want to come to the games for. Try some youngsters (i.e. like you did with DBJ and everyone loves watching him). Give us the Butch excitement factor. Hey if he takes a mark I50 at least well be excited for the next 30 seconds.

Anyways, not that it really matters but my thoughts for this week are:

Out:
O'Shea (more interested in shit fashion and being a hipster than playing footy)
Amon (Soft as butter and no awareness whatsoever
Ah Chee (Literally does nothing)
Boak (Poor guy, game is past him, monster mids will kill him all day)
Ebert (Worst decision maker in the AFL)
Stewart (Actually liked his presence last few weeks, but not going to be part of our future, so needs to make way for the kids)

In:
R Gray (obvious)
J Butcher (Dixon is crying for help, this is who he needs)
K Mitchell (Award effort Ken, he deserves it)
L Austin (Don't know much about him, heard he's tall, give him a shot)
Clurey (Much better than Bobby, let's see if hes got what it takes)
Toumpas (He'll run all day, his decision making will get better with time, remember he's only played 33 games)

how many games do these teams play outside of Vic?
5 or 6. even if they lose them all, they will still have enough wins to make finals.
whereas, you guys have to travel every 2nd week and lose most of those away from home

Agreed there is no doubting that, we have been woeful away from home simply woeful. Agreed if we cant fix it then its goodbye to our season.

Don't worry you'll be breaking your away duck this weekend. I expect it will be like our game against Geelong...we'll put up a reasonable fight early but you'll end up winning comfortably once the game settles down.

I don't see them as flag favourites though. You have shown consistently you can't beat half decent sides away.
Last year beat Brisbane, Saints, Tigers, Power, Demons, Magpies, away from home. Currently we've been beaten by the top 3 premiership favourites away from home, lets wait and see how we go against other teams away from home this year.

Anyway, not the place for that. How's Robbie Gray going to be, what was the injury he had? Will he be at full fitness?

Looking at it glass half full I reckon. You've been garbage away from home.

Gray will be back 100% so will Carlile
