Agreed. Underperforming SANFL players get a gig as long as they're under 6 foot. Not sure what the hesitation is with playing the tall kids or slight underperformers.

We saw nothing from Harvey or Shaw. Almost nothing from Clurey.
Dougal still being 'managed' and Frampton and Austin, well, who knows.

Meanwhile Neade, S. Gray and Amon get gifted many more games than they deserve.

Trust me we will get belted. Why?
- mcgovern will break the intercept marks record. Taylor creamed us, teams with a third tall in defence we dont match up on i.e bring another tall in to keep them busy. Schofield to hoff mackenzie to dixon or other way around your already sorted
- priddis 40disp 10+ clearences. Natanui will deliver premium service and our mids are b grade apart from gray
- darling will be too strong for whoever we put on him probably jonas or oshea who both are better suited to intercept play. Carlile wont play hombsch will get kennedy and byrne jones will get lycett just because #farken[/QUOTE]
Hey just quickly what has happen to Travis Boak in 2013/2014 was a star. He and Robbie Gray almost single handidly took Port to a grandfinal. I still like him as a player.

When we got on top late against St Kilda he passed up a gimme goal in favour of a handball and told the resultant sprayer (teammate) that he couldn't kick.

Boak to play in the back pocket. If he cant perform in the guts then teach him a lesson and put in back pocket where all he has to do is stop Le Cras and dont worry about providing any attacking play, because he hasn't done so for about 5 maybe 6 games already.

No more terrible than his leadership when it counts at the moment. I said LeCras because he's the only small permanent forward I can think of as West Coast like to play big blokes in their forward line, Kennedy, Darling, Lycett, Nick Nat etc. Lets see how tough a leader he really is. If it doesnt work then move Krak onto LeCras and play Boak on Krak's opponent.

I don't actually have a problem with this.
Bad disposal - is it any worse than what we're seeing anyway?
At least you know he will run both ways and give 100%.

Just because some of the other fringe players apparently have more "upside" he shouldn't be ignored.

I'd give Butcher another chance as well - up until last week he was putting in some consistent performances in the SANFL.

This roundabout of the usual fringe players needs to stop.

It may be an unpopular opinion but I agree. Calling up players like Amon when he didn't do anything to warrant it and when he's known for not going 100% sends the wrong message. Someone within the first 18 needs to be dropped for not working hard enough and mitchell to come in because he works his bloody arse off but don't really know who. Can't have the slogan "we will never give up" when there's players out there giving up.

I'm a big Neade fan but I almost want him dropped after that handball 30m out from goal, inexcusable. If I ever see him do something like that I will want him dropped immediately. Don't want to see him dropped this week though as he did work his ass off as usual.

I just want to see the team give 100% all game, I'm confident that the skills will look like they have cleaned up when everyone is giving full effort and playing their role.

In: RGray, Clurey, Mitchell, Butcher

Very close to saying Neade out instead of Impey. If mitchell doesn't perform this week then out for Toumpas next week.

Oh I agree. Selecting Amon ahead of him was insane. Trouble is that would have probably meant a win last week, this week it'll probably just reduce the pummelling we're going to get.
