I can understand missing goals and kicks, its actually quite a difficult skill to execute at pace / under pressure. Should be better at it sure but still, some errors will creep in.

There is absolutely no excuse for AFL footballers missing 5m handballs. Divvy 6 Reserves players can execute a hand ball drill and count to 100 without the ball hitting the deck.
