We'd have to really send Mihocek back if that's the case, bombers tall really exposed us.

The vast majority of impact by the bombers talls was out the back type stuff, much of which falls on the midfield and F50 players stopping their transition. Thought Shaz, Langdon and Howe battled manfully in the more contested situations.

Elliott in for Daicos
Treloar in for Sier
Aish in for Mayne

B - Maynard Moore Howe
HB - Murray Sharenberg Crisp
C - Treloar Pendlebury Phillips
HF - WHE Mihochek Sidebottom
F - Elliott Cox Stephenson
R - Grundy Adams DeGoey
INT - Varcoe Thomas Langdon Aish
Suppose do you also factor in Reid

I think Daicos should make way for Brown.
Daicos is getting pushed off it too easily and a lot of tackles aren’t sticking.

Simpson said in his press conference that Kennedy, Darling and LeCras could be back, while Sheed and Barrass are available.

LeCras had a wrist operation last week and I heard him interviewed on radio where he said he'll miss 3 to 4 weeks
last Tuesday at training Kennedy was walking laps. I'll be staggered if he played.
not sure on darling.

I feel Brown was getting his marks out the back but Mckernan had a few contested marks I50

What’s all this talk of passengers? We just won our 7th game in a row and are playing with a unity and purpose not seen since 2011.

It’s time to get excited!

Yeah sorry, I started that. Poor choice of words, and maybe the general negativity of the board has absorbed me... :) . It's more that I think our depth is starting to be tested and the difference between our A graders and B graders will soon make itself felt. But you're right 7 in a row is brilliant. And players are playing their roles and buying in, so can't ask more than that.

Meh let them bring in an underdone forward line. I couldn't care less if they brought in Jesus himself.

It's another opportunity to show how far we have come and where we are heading. Being at the MCG favours us. I am more confident for this game than I was about the bombers one. We got this.

I think WHE will miss. So probably two definite ins with Applebys hammy.

Of McKernan's F50 marks that I can recall, 1 was a regulation lead up chest mark, 1 was a shanked kick from a pack that barely covered 10m, 1 was a going back with the flight contested mark against Appleby (?? I think) on a fast transition. May have been 1 other F50 mark. He only had 7 contested possessions and I think most of those were at half back or while he was giving Bellchambers a chop out in the ruck.

Yep, Crocker appears to be a weakness at AFL level.
Hope he can improve, but the indications are he may not
he seems to be another fasolo type in that he want the easy possessions and plays for frees. it was i think 1st qtr about 15 min mark we kicked deep into a Forward pocket, there was another magpie player front and square on his own and Crocker was about 5Metres behind him but ran up into the contest, the ball ended up getting spolied and went forward about 10M were crocker originally was so his defender got an uncontested possession which lead to a scoring oppurtuinity for them. had he stayed back rather then goal hunting we would have at the very least locked the ball in our F50

From Bucks on Thursday,
"We are managing Darcy conservatively and he needs to put together a "body of work" at lesser intensity before progressing to senior level. We will continue to put work into him and expect he will be available for senior selection in the coming weeks. Trav is slightly different given he has seen more games this year so he has a stronger foundation. He comes in."
I think it's dependent on WC bigs, if Kennedy and Darling are out i see no need to rush back Moore and then the only change for mine would be Murray in for Flynn and Varcoe in for Crocker.

Credited with 5 so a few must be.

Fantastic to think that Appleby and Mihocek off our rookie list have been so good for us?

It seems that the selection committee have been reluctant to make too many changes and mainly due to injuries, so I would think that:

Out: Appleby (inj) In: Murray
Out:WHE (if inj) In: Varcoe

Daicos is doing enough to stay and my only concerns for future games are Crocker and Mayne.

Why wouldn’t he be? Eagles bringing in Kennedy and Darling who haven’t trained in over a month.
Our conservative approach hasn’t worked. We’ve tried this before
The club will continue to be conservative.
We are 11 4 with a reasonable %.
If they penciled in 2-3 VFL games or x amount of onfield time...then assume they will stick rigidly to the plan.
No player will be “rushed” back due to other circumstances (opposition team or player match ups).

Apparently Simpson said on the radio that Kennedy and Darling are likely to return :/ not good. I think Moore has to play

It could also be good if they're underdone. Moore to Kennedy. Shaz to Darling. It's not too bad.
