Smith runs to all the right spots, is disciplined, but to me is depth and not over Murray or Varcoe or Greenwood or Crisp or Maynard et al.

The most restrained assessment of Smith is that he's depth, and he might well be the sort of depth we need at seniors. He looked sharp at VFL, and I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of him replacing Crocker.

No he won't be. He plays defensively in the backline then if a mid needs a rest he rotates on ball. The way he tackles and attacks the ball is first rate.

"Much harder position"? Not sure how you come to that conclusion. Miles harder making an impact in our forwardline toward than it was in the midfield.

If WHE is out, Crocker will stay in, betcha. Sier has a future but I reckon he'll end up making way. Even with Treloar going out our midfield is still stacked.

I always believe that the game is won in the middle. Sier in his second game stood up in the last and Crocker didn’t and I don’t think he ever will.

For our sake Crocker should be out reglarless of WHE being in or out. He’s just not up to it.
