It's basically structure. We can't have Three Talls up forward. He's playing FWD/RUCK same as Cox. He played his best footy for a while from all reports yesterday.

Didn’t watch the VFL and while I am a big fan of Moore’s I just don’t see how they can justify selecting him this week. One week back after injury didn’t feature in the bests in the VFL. I know they have a bye down there but don’t play him until he is ready

Played Fine for Me and IF Kennedy and/or Darling play we need him.

IF you fit to play then can't see why not play him at AFL Level

It's not really one week back from injury though, he has been in full training for a while now. This is now 9 weeks post his hamstring injury, he got through the VFL game and is obviously fit enough, so chuck him in I say.

I cannot imagine the decision on Moore's timetable would be influenced by the opposition we are facing - especially when the risk is what might turn into a chronic recurrent hammy (just like his Dad's - yikes).

What people are suggesting is shortening Moore's planned rehab/return (c'mon, there is no doubt they planned for more than 75% of one VFL game time before his AFL return) and putting his season at risk for the sake of one home and away game? When we are going ok? Compromises to planned returns might happen in finals, might happen with a "structural" injury where a player can play through some pain, but we ain't risking a hammy in July when finals are on the cards.

I will eat my words if Moore plays. But when Bucks talks about Moore's "body of work" (what a terrible term) being incomplete, well...
