can't see too many, if any. Maybe Delaney out for Thompson if Scotty comes up. Or they might play both to contend with the tall Eagles forwards and drop a smaller player instead.

Some good pressure from the twos as well. Majak is still a rookie isn't he?

North Melbourne midfielder Ben Cunnington booted four goals to respond in the strongest possible fashion after being omitted from the side that took on St Kilda.

Kangaroos big men Majak Daw and Cameron Pedersen were among the best for Werribee on Saturday, to further push their cases for a senior berth.

Scott Thompson to come back in as the 3rd tall defender against the tall eagles forward line,
Cunnington had a big game and is a chance also

Can't see who we can drop for Cunners or Thompson (who will come back if fit).

Tough week at selection again :thumbsu:

Ins - Thompson
Outs - L.Delaney

Would love for Ben to come back in, but think one more week in the 2's will do him good.
Keys was good , should get another week. We need an extra tall back this week (thompson) to cover nic nat, big Q lynch and darling.

From the last time we played the Eagles, and weren't too bad all things considered:

Out - McIntosh, Pedersen, Mullett, Edwards, L.Delaney, Cunnington
In - Goldstein, Hansen, McMahon, Gibson, Grima, Campbell

*assumed we bring back Thompson for Delaney

Tempted to squeeze Cunners in too, but unsure who would miss. Perhaps Flash or Harps...

No doubting that Cunnington has been up and down this year with some great games and some quiet ones, however can't wait for the selective memory posts in a few weeks demanding that he dominate the 2nds before getting gifted games. Face it, he's way too good for VFL footy - doesn't mean he should play every week but accusing him of being gifted games is ridiculous.

Flash must play as a sub.
His only quarter was great

Tough one because Grima, Thompson and Spud are capable of going with Cox/NicNat, Darling and Lynch. If Keys played it would just push Spud onto Josh Hill. It would be different if Kennedy was fit.

Would be harsh on Keys but I'd be happy with Campbell/Harps out for Cunnington.

In: Pederson
Out: Tarrant

Thompson obviously if fit - most likely for Delaney, but would be very unlucky.

Cunnington to get another VFL game to continue his development, excellent to hear about his efforts - great response :thumbsu:

Make Cunnington so hungry that he'll murder someone for a chance to get back in the side.

No change. Except maybe Thompson for Delaney, but Keys' game on Kosi was so damn good.

I'm sure you'll do plenty of whining if you don't get your regulation 6 mystery frees at ruck contests, 8 frees from players folding when tackled, and 3 from players head-butting an opponent's midriff. The game won't be played in Perth, with local umps scared of getting their houses torched, so prepare to be disappointed.

Where does our recent form up forward leave Azza? Drew, Hansen, Tarrant, Thomas have all done well in recent weeks. Azza started the year so well but has really fallen off the pace, which is a shame as he rarely misses when he gets the ball in his hands.

No change.

And do plenty of tackling training.

Surely Hunter if he is fit GR.
B: McMahon Thompson Firrito
HB: Atley Grima Wright
C: Wells Ziebell Adams
HF: Harvey Hansen Thomas
F: Harper Petrie Tarrant
R: Goldstein Swallow Bastinac
I: MacMillan Anthony Gibson Campbell
What about a recall for Cunnington? Did Flash and Harper do enough to hold their spots?
Edwards any chance? Pederson has been dominating at Weribee. And then there are Mullet and Speight. They up for a gig?

Leave cunners in the seconds for a couple of weeks.

Scotty T is a walk up start however Luke Delaney has a very good match up in Q. Lynch.

This week will be tricky.

I actually think Spud's the perfect matchup for Q. We'll have an issue dealing with Cox and Naitanui but we're not on our Pat Malone in that regard.

Cox will be a handfull but Todd can follow him back.

Grima is the perfect match up for Darling.

I'm not overly concerned about the jumping hair hat aside from his influence at the ruck contests. A massively overhyped player.
