I don't the think Ken likes tinkering with his core group of players. He's a big one for players familiarising themselves with each other until they reach that Geelong and Hawthorn style instinctive "give" stage. For this reason he'll persist with Jonas and Westhoff and do no more than tinker with the edges of his "best" 22.
whatever happens, Hinkley needs to give the boys an old fashioned rocket..
there is a smell about Hawthorn 2009 about us at the moment and I'm not liking it one bit..
Mitchell and O'shea at the very minimum need a rest.

Yeah I see where he's coming from because I think this 'core group' in our defense is working very well except for Jonas. Is he injured? He's not the same force of nature that he was in 2014.
I would have thought the question has been asked why he was traded to the PAFC.
Okay. After a day of processing the loss I agree with Schulzenfest 's changes on the first page of this thread.
Outs:
O'Shea - He wasn't in form at SANFL level and he played like an out of form SANFL player. See you after the bye when you remember how to play football, Cam.
Mitchell - Just offers absolutely nothing when we're up against it. He's a front runner in every sense of the word and helps make us look $1,000,000 when we're up and about, but that's all he does.
White - Carrying an injury by the looks of it, and just isn't as damaging without his pace. Hasn't been great for a while. Needs to earn his spot back.
Impey - We already have 3 running half backs and Krak has made himself undroppable. We know he'll tear up the SANFL, but I can't quite squeeze him in.
Ins:
Wines - We miss him in the guts like John Butcher misses set shots.
Carlile - Obvious back in. Our whole back 6 will improve with his form and leadership.
Neade - Our lack of competitiveness when the ball hit the deck over the last 6 quarters has been absolutely pathetic. Neade is in good form and is the crumber we sorely, sorely lack.
Ah Chee - We need some size and effort at stoppages. He really shouldn't have been dropped and deserves his spot straight back.
The bouncy castle didn't even get pumped up pregame, should've been an omen for them instead it was us that played with a deflated attitude.View attachment 135454We just lost to a team that has a bouncy castle. We know embarrassed.
We must show up as supporters en masse for this game
This is when the team needs us the most to bring the noise, colour and unwavering support
We have an opportunity to celebrate our first 300 game player, honour Kane's career and enjoy a win
My changes are a bit vanilla.

I'm a massive fan of Ah Chee I'm just worried if we take Mitchell and White out for 2 inside players in Ollie and Ah Chee we lose on the spread?
Not questioning Ollie just both.

They don't give us this spread anyway. With Wines and/or Moore in the guts we get that spread from guys like Boak, Gray and Wingard. At the moment we're asking those guys to bury their heads in the bottom of packs and that's not really their go. I'm not really sure what Mitchell's purpose is to be honest.
