We all are, I’m sure. I’ll park in the forward pocket with my walkerI am available for selection.
Your never beaten until you are. Many players play with niggles throughout the year... deliberately throwing games is stupid

Exactly. Whats to say Sydney don’t have an annus horribilus game like we did and lose 4 key players in game?Your never beaten until you are.
Just have to give it your best shot and if they turn out to be too good on the night so be it.
Don’t like just rolling over and conceding. In a two horse race never know what could happen
Are you able to line up Ginnivan with it?We all are, I’m sure. I’ll park in the forward pocket with my walker

I know this isn't really the point of your post, but I think Emmett would have a higher standing reach than Smith. Long neck syndrome for Smith.Out: Timid hesitant players who won't take the initiative when opportunities arise.
In: Players that will take the initiative and have a red-hot go regardless of their status in the team or if they have made previous mistakes.
I would be more than happy to see Bont miss Thursday's game; I'm really not that worried about winning or losing the game that much. However, I care a lot about the attitude our team and each of its individual members takes onto the field.
For the next couple of weeks, the focus should be about uncovering who will and who won't stand up and take the battle to the opposition regardless of whether things are going our way.
Our elite A grade players have carried too great a load for way too long in this team. The exciting thing about Thursday night is that some new and\or fringe players will get a chance to show that they can step up and share more of that load.
Even if it is just one player who can clearly do so, that would be a big step in the right direction, and the team will be stronger for this period of adversity.

Making things up again.Bont looking unlikely this week unfortunately, he’s not moving very well. If he plays he will be seriously underdone, I think he misses and id prefer to hold him back a week.
This is going to be a seriously weak team, good opportunity for others to grab a spot I guess
Making things up again.
Beveridge said a few who are sore will still play as long as they cannot injured themselves further... which many play sore all the time.
I think it is more likely Bont, Richards and Lobb all play.
English seems like just pain and he appears to be annoying Beveridge alittle with it as someone posted last week
Yes i know that but calling him unlikely is making things up. Noone has said that at all. From someone who was at training they told me Bont looked restricted as compared to Richards and Lobb and was in rehab group with Lobb and Richards.
Had strapping on his knee and it was very obvious he was restricted or dealing with something.
Does not mean he wont play but bigbulldog67 is not making things up.
I miss the good ol days of debating between Lin Jong and Koby StevensBring in Biggs, Mclean, Clay Smith and Fletcher Roberts. Could even bring in Wallis, Jong and Murphy this time.
Not mad at it at all. I was thinking Bont to HB replacing O'Donnell, West moves into the middle as a physical presence, something we have lacked the past few outings (He remains one of the few players we have that can stick a hard tackle when needed, and he sure isn't helping us on the scoreboard). And Freijah goes forward as a larger presence that can roam when needed. We need some sort of larger body to take attention away from NaughtonI have been concerned about Freijahs form this season. Not calling for him to be dropped. In my inexpert opinion I think the drop in form is due to him being asked to do a number of roles this season. My solution- play him at HBF for a run of games and he will find his form. Do others think he is significantly down on form (like West currently is imo( just a random drive by by me)) and that an extended run in the back is the answer?
There is far too much hysteria
We can field a side entirely capable of winning if we can work thru Sydney’s press and cause the odd turnover in our forward 50.
The way we be been using Darcy has is a complete BS mess
Out: Emmett, Lewis, Darcy, Liberatore
In: Buslinger, Treloar, Dolan, English
We are stronger with those changes. Lobb and English wax Ruck/Forward.
Move Williams as a key back and what we loose in height we gain in run and evasiveness - should help us get thru Sydney press.
The game is entirely winnable. But the idiot running this team and I mean idiot must stop playing suburban level players like Lewis and Mc Neil. And even worse traumatizing a young talent like Emmett to be rag dolled and thoroughly crushed by man mountains such as Meek and Grundy. It’s an disgrace - akin to Carlton playing Elijah Hollands.
Play your best available list -
Which seems to be annoying Beveridge given others are playing through painEnglish is not available - he would be handy
Dale at full forward. Him and Freijah have been up and down in form all year, i reckon just sit Dale forward and give Freijah his role down backBont at full forward?
