It's been a tough month, but we can't afford to have any lethargy creep in now.

No doubt, definitely nervous about this game, especially the fact that it is our first game at the G.

The only mention of McKinley so far is in the form of a joke. But I would think the Selection Committee will at least consider him as a replacement for Petrie. He has been playing well in the VFL, working his butt off, a great team player. He has kicked many more goals than any of the other aspirants for the job. Of course his "big" disadvantage is that, unlike Daw or Pederson, he can't play the role of back-up ruckman.

Didnt anyone see Thomas belt a Carlton player? A free kick was awarded. My worry is (a) it was intentional
(b) it was forceful (c) it was well off the ball. l was right in front of it when it happened and was watching Thomas as he did it. This has all the earmarks of being cited by video. If so he might just get a holiday ........

No-one seems to have mentioned it but Lachie played with only one arm for the last quarter or so. His effort to get both arms up to take the last minute mark may have masked what may become another out for us. Yes, I do know his shoulder has been sore but it looked bad late in that game. Especially when trying to man handle or hold position.

If Petrie is out as reported then Pedo takes his spot. McKinley/Edwards can't go into the ruck to give Goldy a rest.
If Ziebell gets suspended then Cunnington to take his spot.
If Adams can't get up for the game then perhaps Garlett to get a gig.

I am not sure Campbell is in our best team atm. Perhaps if one of the three above are okay to play then maybe give Flash a full game in the VFL for one of those players or perhaps Richardson who seems to be going okay.

Good post Tas, I agree with all points.

I also think Hansen can be covered. The team as a whole is playing much better and thats more important than individuals - should beat the Tigers next week, they have their own issues.

we have our second best ruck forward out for the season Vickery
4th best midfielder in Foley
second best defender in Grimes
and with our luck cotchin will get a week cause were the tiges

Cannot get complacent and hope that any lapse in form or intensity will punish us. Just like West Coast and Port.

a team comes back breathing fire after a narrow lose to a good team .. not a team who hasent won a game all year and to have a squib like Hunt kick a winner on you is just pure embarrassment ... were broken my friend and North have every chance to steam roll us ... live the tigers but the next couple of weeks will be like watching 08 - 09 all over again

Griffiths, batchelor, newman, Ivan Maric both pulled up with injuries come end of saturday so dont know yet

certain batch will be out HB player gone

thats 4 of our best 22 and our depth is as good as good as my 12 year old cousins soccer team

Should be able to beat a Richmond side minus Foley, Grimes, possibly Cotchin, maybe even Maric.
