Don't be fooled by our form line. I have learned a great deal from Bigfooty over the course of the last month which leads me to believe we are lucky to be where we are. After all, we just fell over the line against the GC, the worst team ever, over ran a flu riddled crows team who couldn't have beaten the little league North team that day, got the Saints on a rare off day, lost to the then top of the table WCE by two points but they only decided to play after half time so really that's a 31 point loss and beat the Blues because of an AFL led umpiring conspiracy and because they were completely crippled by injury.

So don't get ahead of yourselves boys and girls. We are still shit despite beating and pushing finals and premiership aspirants and contenders left right and center over the last month.

One of the more straightforward selection threads for me; forced changes only and like for like to maintain a structure that is working:

Pederson to play forward (Petrie out)
Cunnington to play HFF (Adams out)*
Cunnington to rotate in middle (Ziebell out)
Cunnington & Greenwood in (Adams & Ziebell out)

*Cunnington has kicked 7 in two consecutive VFL games & played a blinder against Richmond last year.

I'll be gutted if anyone of them miss, all three are critical.

Cruize in for Adams if need be
But i would also take out flash and add in Richo or Kennedy, flash has come on in the past when the game was already won and hasn't added a great deal, when he had a full game against the eagles he was next to useless.
Im not to keen on changing a winning formula but im just not sold that campbell is a major part of that

Wouldn't be so certain about Cruize getting the promotion for Adams. Sierakowski's been on the emg list a number of times, he could get a run as sub. I'd probably go Cruize but by no means is he a direct swap for Patch. Although he'd probably be sub anyway.

I reckon we oughta bring Cruize in even if Adams does play. Ziebell is not easily replaced. Flash was OK in the sub role, but we need more grunt this week.

Pedo for Petrie is obvious. But I am still hopeful on big Drew. Richo comes in as sub if Patch doesn't get up.

I don't agree with that. Cunners can play Ziebell's 65-70% of the game and give the best he's got. It's not like you can throw a 5th mid in the square to help out. Cruize isn't exactly known for his 'grunt' anyway.

You either under-estimate what Ziebell brings to our midfield, or over-estimate Cunnington's ability to replace that as of right now. Cruize certainly offers more grunt than Flash does and I believe grunt will be an important factor in toppling the Tigers. The midfield is the one area that they match us for talent. Get first use of it and we're half way there.

Not at all, Cunners for Ziebell is certainly a big hit to our midfield. But adding Cruize isn't going to help much. We'd still have the same amount of mids around the ball, they'd just get more of a rest up forward/on the bench if Cruize played.

I was about to say to cover the loss of Ziebs we could play Patch as a full time inside mid. FML, FMNMFC.

Agree with this sentiment. We are going to have to add some inside grunt and Cruize is the next best option.

Pretty surprised to see Levi in. This is a copy of a post I made on him on the Players Watch forum: "Levi had 8 ineffective handballs last week. To put that into perspective, the next worst in the side (9 other players) had just 2, many had none. That is an absolute shitload of handballs not finding a target. We always knew his kicking was dodgy, but that stat has me worried for his future. His overall disposal efficiency was under 50% again. He also gave away 3 free kicks."
