Out - LeCras, Ryan, Waterman, Schofield (if Barrass back, if not stays in), Nelson
In - Anyone who plays well in WAFL
This may sound like a stupid idea but if Barrass comes back next week, how would Schofield go in the forward line or alternativelyvpoay McGovern up forward but that was tried tonight without much success.

This is a tough one, too many players down on form. Adelaide is in worse form than we are but I am betting we'll play them back in to it. I am thinking we may as well give some more kids a chance while JK and Darling are out.

Outs: Cripps, LeCras, Hutchings, Schofield, McInnes
Ins: Petrucelle, Ah Chee, Ainsworth, Barrass, Brander

Pretty simple we need to **** him off at seasons end.

You don't choose when you put in the effort, if your not committed to the effort for four quarters every game then its time to move on.

He has been playing bruise free football for the majority of the season.

Would rather another Cole who is nowhere near as skillfull Jetta but never stop trying and puts in every week.

Was at the game watching Jett’s and he was not interested.

Barrass for Waterman
Ah chee for mcinnes
McGovern plays forward. We actually got our structure back in the last when McGovern went forward and essendons key defenders stopped dominating. Barrass plays his role in defense.
Ah chee is more likely to take a contested mark than Waterman, mcinnes or lycett.

Last year of his contract isn’t it?

Watch us offer him a yr or two.

Hopefully not..

Masten was our best ball user tonight. He stays.
Masten kicks well but his 2 glaring areas are that he refuses to get the ball and waits for his opponent to get hands on it and then Masten attempts the tackle. Secondly when he marks, his first reaction has been to look backwards and kills momentum.

When we are on - he is out on his own and has the support that covers over his flaws. When we are under pressure (like Q1 v Drug Rats and against finalist pressure teams), he too after goes missing and/or kills momentum.

He took his hits last night and he attacked well. He looked forward once and there was nothing on so he went backwards, he always looks to deliver i50 and did so with success.

He also tackled ok last night. Strange week to criticise him. Who would replace him?

Venables is nowhere near for enough. Ah Chee would be better replacing Hutchings.

Shuey isn't getting dropped despite peoples wishes, his half output is twice as damaging as Hutch and Shred at the moment.

Ainsworth by all accounts is an inside mid with dodgy disposal by foot, although I really hope he succeeds in becoming a decent kick.

It was such a knob move by them all to bomb it in all game. No forwards u have to chnage it up
Get petrucelle in also ahchee and the two allens
Out hutchings duggan lecras fraser

Yep, we've plummeted to 3rd when most picked us to miss the 8.

Sack the spud:rolleyes:

Thing is with Simpson is that sometimes you have to wonder where his head is at.

Take the post match press conference: rather then take ownership of a putrid effort we served up and giving the boys a deserved roast, he instead comes out with "we wont change the way we play"

After that effort, thats the best he could come up with.

Seriously.

Why is Duggan still on half back he should be a midfield rotation. It’s his fourth season now. Even put Cole in the middle, or Nelson, or Ah Chee when playing.

No wonder our mids get tired as the season goes on. We need more than just the same five guys in there each week. I thought when Priddis and Mitchell retired we would see more midfield rotations.

Happy to say that you and I must have been watching a different person. I did not say he was soft and yes he took a couple of hits.

Have a look at replays and watch him closely. I think you will see why his natural approach pisses off so many supporters.

Its also got to do with the fact nic's only playing 60% game time. The rest he is on the bench.

I would like to see Tom Cole given more midfield time so happy to try him on the wing or play Gaff more outside with Tom inside.

Alternatively Partington to the wing.

Other option could be Petrucelle but not so sure he is ready yet.

Well it's clear that there are spots in the team for the taking. So the only question for me now is, who in the WAFL is going to stand up and put in a performance to justify elevation?

Saturday 1:40pm, Leederville Oval. Weather forecast: clear & sunny. Live on 7HD.

-McInnes, Hutchings & Duggan
+Barrass, Ah Chee & Ainsworth

HB: Jetta, Barrrass, Hurn
C: Masten, Redden, Gaff
HF: Ryan, Waterman, Rioli
FF: LeCras, McGovern, Cripps

R: Naitanui, Shuey, Yeo

I: Ah Chee, Nelson, Lycett, Ainsworth

Bring Barrass in for McInnes who isn't AFL standard. Throw Gov fwd to help Waterman.

Drop Hutchings as he was absolutely useless and give Ah Chee another crack.

I'd drop Duggan to show a similar message to Sheed. His disposal was terrible. Think only 7 defenders are required anyway. I'd bring Ainsworth in as think he deserves another shot.

If Vardy has a blinder bring him in for Mcinnes. I know he didn’t kick any goals but he did have three chances and if we bring in M Allen or Brander in they wont do much better in a young forward line. Ah chee needs to play because he can be a rotation with Shuey in the forward line.

Out: Hutchings , Jetta, Nelson
In: Ah chee, Barrass, Pet

Seriously.

How much of the press conference did you watch?

"We can say nothing went right for us in that first half or that first quarter – and that's not far off – but that would discredit what Essendon did and their intent early," Simpson said post-match.

"I'm not going to offer any excuses. We were poor in the first quarter, they were really good and we got what we deserved."

Seriously.

I'm pretty sure what he says in his presser is completely different to what he says behind closed doors.
