KENNEDY is back for this game. Have a look at the video yesterday of him. He was running and says it's mostly muscle corked. Simmo said he will be back too.
We definitely now have been shown we can't play 3 tall fwds when it comes to the crunch. We need more run.

Edited changes

INs
JK, Ahchee, Sheed, Venables, Barrass, Watson, Petruccelle

OUTS
Mcinnes, Waterman, Masten, Hutchings, Schofield, Jetta, Lecras

Getting rid of slow guys and Old has beens. And never will be's in Waterman and Mcinnes.

We need to do this now. Get some youth in before we play an improved Giants and Pies.
INs Bold the ones I agree with
JK, Ahchee, Sheed, Venables, Barrass, Watson, Petruccelle

OUTS
Mcinnes, Waterman, Masten, Hutchings (see schofiled), Schofield (WAFL material), Jetta (yep), Nelson (WAFL material) (Lecca has one more chance)

Our fowards were badly exposed Ryan, Rioli and Lecca, Cripps Waterman are all doing good because JK and Darling take the best defenders now that they are out the the rest of them take the top notch defenders and get exposed. Ryan, Rioli and Waterman are tiring you can tell. You get that with youth they fluctuate.

Fumbling the ball and kicking straight to opposition players or out of bounds on the full is not standing up when it matters ..He doesn’t even dash and take the game on anymore..He should be watching Saad or McKenna in how to break lines and put his body on the line ..
He will go missing in any finals game we play ..

You obviously haven't watched him much.

Was instrumental in Rd 22 last year, as well as in the EF win.

Out: poor skills and bombing the ball long when we have no quality tall forwards.

In: lowering eyes and hitting up players on the lead and improved skill execution

I think JK and JD have been masking the fact that our forward line structure is terrible. Our forward entries and positioning are below par.. everyone is just standing still and the forward line is always horribly crowded.

I don’t think bringing a component forward in is going to help.. we have capable forwards they just are never in an effective position
Watch JK and Darling work in tandem off the ball live at the game. It is something to behold. They both work together to create space for each other. Take players who have played so much footy together out of the forward line and throw in a bunch of kids, of course our organisation suffers. It takes many years to develop intrinsic understanding of running patterns. Not much we can do about it in the short term unfortunately.

They were told to press forward and lock the ball in, and it worked. Big chunks of last nights game were stuck inside our forward 50, especially 3rd QTR.

IF Essendon didn't have a fast start, and IF a few of those 16 points were goals (which they should have been) we'd be having a very different discussion today.

Unfortunately the Lecras', Waterman's, Ryan's and Rioli's didn't pitch in enough while the ball was locked down there.

Game was virtually over before the ball even got to them. Thats on the mids and defence. Of course we completed that magnificent game by squandering the chances we did end up getting.

Forwards do carry some of the blame. But it's not their fault that their game was made more difficult by match committee oversights and wishful thinking.

Failing to get the ball to ground, failure to pressure their defenders, giving them intercepts and allowing them to run riot on the rebound is all down in part to forwards playing well.
