INs Bold the ones I agree with
JK, Ahchee, Sheed, Venables, Barrass, Watson, Petruccelle

OUTS
Mcinnes, Waterman, Masten, Hutchings (see schofiled), Schofield (WAFL material), Jetta (yep), Nelson (WAFL material) (Lecca has one more chance)

Will be surprised and disappointed if Venables come straight in after that injury lay off.

It means we learned nothing from bring Ryan straight back in without a game or two in the WAFL.

Watch JK and Darling work in tandem off the ball live at the game. It is something to behold. They both work together to create space for each other. Take players who have played so much footy together out of the forward line and throw in a bunch of kids, of course our organisation suffers. It takes many years to develop intrinsic understanding of running patterns. Not much we can do about it in the short term unfortunately.

One of the more intelligent posts Ive read for quite some time.:thumbsu:

This goes for the entire side not just Darling and JK. When team mates play long enough together they know who is doing what, when, where and how. It can be a beautiful thing to watch when a team gets there. Hawks had it for 3-4 years.

Yeah agreed good point then
In Petraculle, JK (if fit), Barras, Ainsworth & Ah Chee
Out: Jetta, Nelson, Hutch and Mcinnes and Schofield

I see a few calls for Jetta and Nelson to be chopped but Duggan escapes criticism. To me this is interesting.
Duggan been great this season. If we're gonna drop every player who had a poor game last night we won't be able to field a team.

Jetta and Nelson, along with a few others don't have the formline to present as a defence.

He likes it when the pressure goes off that’s why he should be in the wafl ..

Being at the game noticed on a couple of occasions Jetta was on his own waving for the ball to be kicked to him (RHB) but instead (Hurn I think it was) kicked the ball into a congested pack (LHB) and the ball came bouncing back into the Essendon forward line, fortunately Hurn saved it and it was rushed through for a point. However had it been kicked to Jetta he could have run down the wing and possibly found a player free for a goal but of course that's all hypothetical! Don't think Jetta is always used to Advantage.

Hard on big Fraze to come in and have an impact when he's used very sporadically...Some people are being harsh for mine.

I'm thinking we need to go small ball...Keep Gov up forward, TB back in down back if he's okay to play and have a mosquito fleet to win the ball at the feet of Gov and turn them inside out.

McGovern burnt him as well and kicked inboard straight on an Essendon players chest. Not the only time he turned it over either

Gov isn't a forward doesn't play that role well at all.
Simpson should have moved him in the 2nd quarter up forward. Coach has no idea

Which is it? He's no good as a forward, or he is and should've been moved forward earlier?

You can't have it both ways.

When all the carnage was happening early, Essendon were establishing a massive lead in possessions, which they retained till the end of the game.

There’s been a lot of talk of our inexperience; but it’s also true that we picked a side containing lots of low-production players. I’d like to see some players who can find the ball, to go along with those who get it less than 15 times a game.

To that end, I’d consider Partington, Ainsworth and a recall for Sheed. Also recall pre-injury Shuey, please.

I mentioned last week Gov isnt as good as many make out with his kicking. Goes for some overly aggressive passes infield and often misses targets and turns it over in dangerous positions.

Was told by some I was talking out my arse and didnt know what I was talking about.:cool:

True well Darling is out for the next two and JK at least one.

That means against Adelaide we have to be creative and inventive going forward. Use Gov or Vardy just to compete and provide a target.
