I listened to "ask simmo" and he said that Hutch did a minor twinge the week we played Syd in Geelong. That makes me nervous for the poor guy.

Hutchings is such a bad idea. It's on par with regularly playing delist fodder Vardy ahead of Wiliams.

There's no future at AFL level for Hutchings. He looked past it in 2019. He's never been highly skilled, and his body is CONSTANTLY failing him, and us.




However.... at least the bloke has been in good form in the WAFL. Can't do much else and has more right to play than pretty much any of our other depth. With our 'star' mids constantly wetting the bed, it's only right we reward our reserves players for their effort and give them a shot.

So even though i don't want him in the side at present, he definitely deserves it.

To be fair I think Hutchy has a hell of a lot of a better body of work behind him than Nelson ever has or will.
