Cripps ain't going anywhere. He's one of the golden untouchables. For some reason.

And with Ah Chee out injured, Jones not available, Winder not ready and Rioli still out then he could have had a 1 touch, 1 clanger game and still be safe.

I wont lie, kinda hoping we lose the rest of our games and finish 13th. Pick 6 in the draft and a better fixture next year. We're not doing shit finishing 7th or 8th and would suck if we finished 9th or 10th.

7th or 8th and getting some valuable finals experience is more important than jumping up the draft order by a few picks. Even if we're knocked out early.

If we were 9th or 10th i'd agree with you, tank it up. But you never pass up finals. It builds a successful culture, provides priceless experience for young players, puts the club in the mix and breeds some positivity into a frustrated fan base. We're one of the most successful clubs because we play a lot of finals.






Re Sheed - There are others i'd drop ahead of him who deserve it more. Give Dom one more week. His effort is there, it's just his ball use and ill discipline.

yeah we are SO far off finals its not funny.

We can barely put any good footy together so dont know how we'll win enough games to make the 8 let alone trouble another finalist at their home ground.

Saying that... IF!!! we make it we wouldve turned our form around and u never know.

Would be just like us the last 3 years to win a bunch of games, make it and get bundled out with a whimper

Culture?? Well we currently have one of a team thats soft and accepts pathetic performances under the guise of credits in the bank no matter how badly someone has consistently played so at least tanking stands for something .

At the moment the club stands for nothing but a laughing stock.

Its about standard setting. We have none atm. Time for Hutchings to set some.

Standards are set by leadership group. If they don’t do it, hutchings isn’t going to “show them”. They aren’t rookies and know what do, but are not willing.

Bringing in a slow tagger who is closer to the end isn’t going to make McGovern defend properly.

Fair point that, but we have fallen pretty far to be fair in the effort and leadership stakes.
