Thought I heard Buckley imply that Gault was left out tonight only due to match-ups, so he and Broomhead may come in for Sidebottom and one of Oxley or Ramsey.
Still not convinced on Varcoe defensively, hope he is not a front runner.

Blair was great tonight but they were his conditions. Obviously he isn't getting dropped but I still think with a fully fit list and in good conditions, Blair isn't in the 22 imo.

Didnt see all of tonight but Id say Dwyer in if Sidebottoms out. Cant offer an opinion on Ramsay but if hes good enough for one game hes good enough for a few. Hate seeing new guys dropped after a single game

Gault in, adelaide hav a short suspect backline. Talia will go to cloke, then they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for tall defenders. Plus gives grundy good back up in ruck.

Broomhead adds class, just needs to find the ball 15 plus times at senior level.

Yep, no way reid will come into senior side until playing 2-3 weeks of consistent footy in VFL.

Blair plays his best when the ball is on the ground ( wet conditions ) and he is playing the role of a small player instead of trying to be a marking option. His job is to play consistently doing this, he hasnt for a long time. He has started well.

In: Kennedy(we really need a crumber, blair was good but Elliott didn't really provide the crumbing goals), Witts(I like 2 rucks, Grundy was fantastic but needs support)

*I was very wrong on team selection this week, credit to bucks and coaching staff. Hope Blair and Sincs can keep it up all season, outstanding tonight.
* can't catch a break, lose sidey on top of greenwood -_- Really think DeGeoy and Kennedy are the ones to step up and take those spots for the next few weeks
*broomhead and Freeman could be the ones to step up but atm i'd favour the 2 above.
*Im assuming Ried isn't available

His kick in the first quarter was Buckley-esque... Incredible!

He also looked confident with the ball. I'd be happy to give him another week... But then we'd be dropping Ramsay for essentially no reason.

We have a surplus of small defenders, one of them has to go for balance and that's Ramsay IMO.

What is this talk about recovering and needing to make more changes. It's round 1 and we have a week to recover, how long do they need to recover, these guys are athletes.

The only other possible change I would consider is bringing in Witts but I think we should be fine.

Dwyer did his knee(?) in the VFL today, apparently.

Only change I'd like to see is Sidebottom out and one of Broomhead or Kennedy in.
