Blair was great tonight but they were his conditions. Obviously he isn't getting dropped but I still think with a fully fit list and in good conditions, Blair isn't in the 22 imo.

Have to disagree...8 possessions in 3 quarters, where many were stop/prop/go back touches....as calm as they may have been....wasn't enough for me. Ramsay didn't put a foot wrong. He is defensively, so solid...and if need be, allows someone like Williams to go up the ground and be damaging (v GWS last year)We were short a midfield rotation in the last quarter and a bit so think Ramsay makes way. Oxley was impressive I thought.
Dont think they'll be in any rush to bring Freeman in. He got the wrath of Craig Mcrae on a few occasions yesterday for being selfish and not being defensive when they needed him to. I was right next one of them when Mcrae came down to the fence as and let rip. He told Mcrae that the players wont trust you if you keeping putting those efforts in.......fair to say Mcrae won't be pushing for his selection this week.OUT:
DE GOEY - Better for him and his development playing VFL right at this moment and I feel like an older more matured campaigner would be a more effective sub and would benefit our side more.
OXLEY - We don't need that many medium sized defenders against Adelaide, I know Oxley showed great potential but Ramsey and Sinclair played particularly well tonight and warrant a spot before the Ox.
SIDEBOTTOM - injured. Unfortunate but I feel it's an opening for another player to stand up and fill his role.
IN:
BROOMHEAD - Class with the ball and has composure, I think he's played well enough to warrant a spot and I feel he's disposal will be a nice addition to our side.
GAULT - was very optimistic but I feel like Gault would be a great inclusion, not only to stretch Adelaide's defence but give Grundy a chop out while still maintaining 2 key forwards, I also think he warrants a spot for his good NAB form. I also feel that if Gault is picked there is no reason for Karnesis to get a gig.
DWYER/KENNEDY - I feel either Dwyer or Kennedy should replace De Goey as a more experienced sub. I feel they would make a greater impact and if they were to perform well enough they can prove a strong case to start the following week.
I might've been tough not to include PK and Freeman, but I feel like they need to prove that they deserve to be in the side!
Out: Jordan De Goey, Steele Sidebottom, Jackson Ramsay
In: Paul Seedsman, Sam Dwyer, Corey Gault
Sub: Paul Seedsman
It must be extremely difficult coming on as a sub, particularly at the beginning of a landslide, however in my opinion you've got to have a little more impact if you're going to retain your spot, even with the limited opportunities he had. He's had the elation of getting his first game and in a winning team, now send him back for 2-3 weeks to improve his craft. That way he can make way for some experienced senior players who deserve a game and can have a real impact. No need pumping games into him for the sake of it, he looks a 200 game player at this stage-patience and development is all we should be thinking about.Really hope de goey stayes in. Would be stiff to get dropped after being sub
No sub ever makes an impact when they come on. You can't come on late in the 3rd and be up with the tempo of the game. I understand what your saying about rushing him in but he deserves another game. You also don't want him to loose any confidence either by dropping himIt must be extremely difficult coming on as a sub, particularly at the beginning of a landslide, however in my opinion you've got to have a little more impact if you're going to retain your spot, even with the limited opportunities he had. He told McRae or McRae told him?Dont think they'll be in any rush to bring Freeman in. I'm not too fussed. We need to bring in another tall.however. If we don't we will play into Adelaide's hand. They struggle at KPD stocks if we don't play 3 decent talls it'll be a huge Mistake. With 3 talls against Adelaide should be able to bank 6-7 goals minimum.
I'd bring in another midfield type for a half back as well, but as long as another tall comes in I'm happy.
