Brown and Frost are going to have their work cut out stopping Walker. He looked like a monster last weekend.

Walker is one of the few non-Pies that I love, but am also simultaneously terrified of.

Tex is a star, however besides Thompson, Norths KPD are putrid. By the time the move was made Walker was on and there was no stopping him. I'd expect Frosty to get first crack with Browny to Jenkins which leaves Tooves to Lynch and Marley/Sinkers to curtail Betts and Cameron. I think we match up quite well, Langdon and Seedo will offer plenty of rebound. It'll be won and lost in the middle, Sidey out hurts as he's our best runner. We don't play Etihad all that well but this is the season to expect the unexpected.

We have potentially a great ruckman of the future with Grundy, we have to make sure we don't burn him out like we did with Josh Fraser, I hope the selection team know what they are doing. Im ok with giving him the responsibility against the best ruckman, but the kid can't do it, week in week out with 80% game time, 22 weeks of the season.

He won't need to. We have potentially the best tag team ruck duo in the comp. Wittsy will be ready to roll in a couple of weeks. These 2 are going to be very hard to stop, could be as early as this season.

It gets even more exciting when you consider the progress and upside of Cox.
We have a ruck division that will last 10 years and be able to absorb any injuries that may happen

Absolutely.

Grundy was simply outstanding last week, to beat Martin/Leuy single handedly shows how much talent he has. Looks super fit and he will be more than competitive against Sauce Jacobs tomorrow arvo.

Can't wait to finally see our boys in action, even at the leaky shed in Docklands. If we bring the attitude of last week, we're a chance. If our coaches have a cunning plan to nullify Tex, we're a chance. If the army turns up in force, and in full voice, we're a chance. Need a few things to go our way, including umpiring decisions, and for Broomy to really announce himself in Sidey's absence. If these things happen, we're a chance!

So what you're saying is.... We're a chance?

Any chance one of the emergencies will get a call up, wouldn't be against either Gault or Karnesis upgraded.

I'm excited to see that both ins are young 'uns. The result is important to me, and I'd love to win this game, but I'd be content if we go down hooking. :)

How chuffed would we feel if any of our promising players e.g. Broomy announces themselves with a compelling performance?

F***ng go woods!

Hope the umps pay close attention to Talias tactics against Cloke.
Last year, Cloke got r*ped by him at every contest, and got no love at all from the umps, they just turned a blind eye to it.

Cloke can’t get a Mark or Free Kick even IF his life Depended on it

Just on this, I think our chances are between zero and dik all.

We'll be too rooted from last week. Cloke lost 5kgs FFS.

At least it will give the Buckley haters and other doomsayers a chance to come out of the woodwork and lay the boot in. Every cloud and all...

I'd be very surprised if we won, but I do give us a mild sniff. We really need to get on top in the midfield to be any chance at all.... if Jacobs, Sloane, Danger and Douglas get on top it will be a drubbing.

No one gives us a chance on the strength of Adelaide flogging a wet lettuce on their home turf. IF we had Sidey and maybe Greenwood I would expect to win.
Even last year when we going backwards downhill towing a load of bricks they only just beat us with essentially the same personnel that they'll have tomorrow.
As it is I think it's line ball. If we can get a fair share of it in the middle and restrict Tex's clean ball we can create enough chances to give this a shake
