Noticed Mitchell limping heavily off the ground with about a minute left. Might be him out for Gray if he's injured. If not it'll probably be Arch, which would be desperately unlucky because Arch won three contested balls that he had no right to win in that last quarter. The kid is explosive.

Ah Chee is dead stiff. I accept he can't be sub 3 weeks running and Robbie takes his spot for balance but if we could get games into Ah Chee he's a genuinely good mid for us.

Wingard keeps getting knocked on his leg, tweaks his ankle/knee

Not sure where Impey is at, but I'd like to see him for Monfries for the defensive forward role. Sick and tired of him falling over looking for a free, just get the damn ball.

Imp is maybe a couple of weeks away from being over the hammy injury and is more the small defensive mid. Just don't see him as a forward. Everyone is slowly getting back into gear Hoff was good last night, Gus is really the last one to hit his straps and there were times last night he looked close. Ken will give Gus a little more time.

Impey played a forward/mid for Murray Bushrangers.

Did an ankle in the last 90 seconds

Hasn't been used as a forward type player by Ken yet. Thinking perhaps Ken will use Neade there if Gus is under the pump. Ken never really does anything random I suspect he has plans for Impey as a mid and a lock down player... Krakouer for example you would think could go forward but Ken leaves him back it's like Ken doesn't want players getting mixed messages about what their role is maybe?

Yup. He has been ******* woeful. Sam gray will be breathing down his neck.

But monfries knows how to niggle and really gets under opposition skin, also takes a good player from the opp. AhChee's big body will be useful and it had an impact last night, needs game time though, wait for the lesser teams I suspect, then we will rest players and start giving players like hime more time. There will be some sore bodies after last night.

Out: Top five opponents from last year
In: Scrubs who need to be taught a footballing lesson

Yeah the 19th man could do with a bit of education but it's a bit late in the day for most of them.

Wingard looked flat and slow after half time, could barely walk let alone run, wonder what he is carrying?

He did have surgury on his knee in January.

I can't remember actually- do we have a natural matchup for Kane Cornes or are we going to 'manage' him this week? After the job he did on Sam Mitchell he can have all the rest he wants.

In- Robbie Gray
Out- most banged up midfielder.

The falling over has to stop really. That last quarter play in our forward line when Schulz shovelled it out to him and he went straight to ground to trap the ball only for it to be whisked away, was bloody frustrating.

A few players were limping a bit late in the game but that's very normal with a game like that. They absolutely ran themselves into the ground in breakneck fashion against the most experienced, hardened team in the AFL.
The only thing Wingard was carrying was a massive workload that saw him winning some ridiculous clearances and contested ball. Chad is a born midfield jet and i can't wait to see more of him playing in his rightful position this year. He stepped up to give us the mercurial clearance machine we were missing in Robbie.
I think a few here would be shocked to see the physical state of most of our players in the 24 hours after all matches. Like a war zone I'm told. We'll be good to go next week.

The expectation of every unlucky basted who has been named Chad by their evil parents.

I'm as much of a Mitchell bagger as anyone (landed a day off after his putrid tackle attempt on Kennedy) but I have to concede the last 2 weeks he has looked a lot better and I dont think he should be dropped.
His stuff ups seem to be less and he does add value (forward line error than gets holding the ball and hits Schulz on the chest).
I think one of our players will be injured enough to make way for Gray.

What's with the Angus hate, his game last week was great .

cornes Is my concern , who would he run with with the crows?
Think the game maybe becoming to quick for them old legs.
Sloane?

Too quick. Probably Thompson, or a slow accumulator like Crouch if he plays.
Is Crouch playing? I thought injured?
Is Thompson worth tagging anymore?
Kane to full forward as he kicked 10 goals for Sacred Heart there :p

Surprised at the kindness being handed to Mitchell from some on here. We were all begging for him to be subbed off during the third quarter. Had a couple of highlights, but most of his kicks were helicopters that got more height than length, and ended up on the chest of a Hawthorn player.

Out: Mitchell
In: Gray

Out Mitchell
In Robbie

Cornes to Sloane, he has been their best mid by a country mile. Plus he isn't actually that quick or slow, perfect match up for Cornes.

Either Sloane or B.Smith if hes on the wing. Sloane is harder to tag for someone like Cornes because he's quite in and under.

B.Smith provides most of their drive and is one of their few run and carry players. Put Monfries on Jaensch and their slingshot is gone.
